I just don't see why you would be attempting to help someone mod a game you've never played. You obviously aren't even sure what he's talking about, so it seems kind of like you're going to confuse him more than help him.

I didn't know that he was talking about the game....
then again, if he was talking general, he would have put it in "general discussion"
SORRY ALL.....I WILL NOW LEAVE IN PEACE AND NEVER COME BACK......hopefully:xp:

im trying to find a program now that can help me add on stuff to it easily because for example if i try to use paint to put a smiley face or something on it it turns out like this
just wow. my microsoft paint skills are as bad as my real painting skills.
what can i do?

Using ModView (unsurprisingly short for model viewer) while skinning will help you see your changes in real-time without needing to constantly load up the game to view them. You should be able to find it fairly easily with a quick search.

Here's my old tutorial, if you want to follow it.
jp-30's Jedi Outcast Skinning Tutorial (http://web.archive.org/web/20031205133211/http://www.theforce.net/games/jo/skinning.shtml)
As it's now only available on the Internet Archive (though I may resurrect it again soon), some of the images may be missing.
