View Full Version : Saber Modelers

I am looking to model a saber hilt...I have pictures of what. But I need to find someone who could/wants to do it...If you help me, all credits go to you! I am using it for an RP clan, so I plan to put your work to very good use.
Hmm, I guess you could ask Pys0Sith, and which game is this for?

You shouldn't volunteer modders. It's disappointing to a requester when the modder you volunteer decides to refuse the request.
I said he could ask, not that he would...no offense

This is for JKA.
Why don't you give some pictures of what you want, please...

I would like em both done :S But if only one can be done then, I would like the 2 (saber4) to be done :D
Could you put them in your lucas album that way I can see them, I can't view pictures from photobucket and the like :(

Why is that important? You're not going to make the models.
That's a pretty neat website, though, Voldie. :)
I could get into modelling anytime, right now seems like a good time, I can at least try though, it won't hurt anyone...

Umm...Okay why not? lol I PMed the guy you told me to...and havent gotten a response yet.
I tried to do it, but epically failed.
The guy you PMed saying he doesn't think he'll be modding for JA again :( oh well, I can try to learn how to model and give it a go, it will take a really looooooooong time though

Ive asked some where else. If they dont fall through. Ill PM you. Thanks for the offer.
I'll look up a couple of tutorials tomorrow, I might not be able to make it, but I've modelled in other programs before, I made Coleman Trebor's head in a 3d animation program, but it wasn't very realistic, so I plan on re-doing the whole body and head in a better animation program, maybe I can even animate him, or use him in a video game, that would be awesome

The UV mapping section of that tutorial is very poor.

ok, Inyri, if you can give me a good tutorial, I'll get on it
I have everything I need, Voldie, I am warning you, I've only skinned twice for JA I have never modelled, so this may take awhile and it will be my first, I hope this turns out the way you want it :)

I'm not a search engine. There are plenty of resources out there and I'm certain you can find material yourself.
Alright, sorry :) no offense I hope. I'll look it up

I am at the point where I need UVM wrapping, unwrapping, and texturing...The fun stuff...
Hehe, have fun, I tried making my own and got totally lost, but that usually happens on your first try at most things
