In this mod by Team Hssiss, Canderous Ordo receives a call to return to the Mandalorian homeworld, Manda'yaim. There he is given a task of great importance: to prevent the Mandalorians from destroying themselves.

Features:
-Explore the backstory of Canderous Ordo and how he got to where he was in the events of The Sith Lords.
-Journey across the planet of Manda'yaim, homeworld of the Mandalorians. Includes unique levels.
-Meet the Mandalorian Clans and engage in diplomacy or "Mandalorian diplomacy".
-Expands the gameplay of KOTOR and adds to the backstory.
-Compatibility with BOSSR.

thats the helmet model i just need a skin for it and its finished then all i need is another beta tester and a scripter and i can finish the mod
also is this the right uti name for it (helm model is i_mask_178) and the uti is g_i_mask_178

PROGRESS UPDATE:
since the bigining of this mod there has been alot of more ideas and stuff that is going to be added to the finished work.insted of 4 new modules there will be alot more. The new party member is going to be a Mandalorian with force sensitive abilitys. You will have to do a quest inorter to get the jedi abilitys.

can you post your favorate color/ color you would like to see a set of mandalorian armor have. I need this information to make more armor for the mod. PLEASE BE SPICIFIC!

PROGRESS UPDATE:
8 New armor textures have been made.
Doors have been added to the extension to koriban.
Mandalore's Battle Armor has been compleated.

Wow, nice to see that! Would the colours define a military faction of the mandalorian army, or are independent?

Anyway, how is this going to fit into the main story?

well on the planat mandalore the space-dock you land in you find a room full of merchants who sell mando armor pluss not one mandalorian will be in the same armor
and the koriban extension is kinda like a bonus...

Agh, that isn't how Canderous found the Helmet! Revan told him where it was before he left at the end of K1. At least that is what Canderous tells you in k2...

What do you mean by "actual"? Well, as you say the Mandalorians have found Mandalore's armor, but maybe you can make that they haven't found the mask.... Anyway, it's your choice to follow the original canon or not to.

well the mandalorians have found the armor but some rouge mandalorians stole it and ran off so its your job to get it back THEN go find the helmet

Update: Canderis has asked to do some storyline consulting for this mod. Naturally since I do this stuff for Team Hssiss, I accepted.

The basic plot remains the same, but slightly changed:
1) Revan tells Canderous after the Escape from the Leviathan that he's been remembering things from his past and realized that the Galaxy needs the Mandalorian clans united again. He sends Canderous off to do this, and tells him where Mandalore's Mask is.
2) You take control of Canderous and go to Mandalore. You meet up with the Secretary General (the last legal leader of the Mandalorians since Mandalore the Ultimate). He knew Canderous from the Wars and would like to him as the new Mandalore, but right now the clans are scattered and there is some guy claiming to be the true Mandalore.
3) You travel across the planet uniting the clans and finally face off against the pretender, who happens to be the guy behind the Mandalorians you find on Kashyyyk.
4) The last thing you need to do to assert Canderous' claim as the new Mandalore is to go grab Mandalore's Mask....

Anyway, that's all for now.

Very nice! Fits in perfectly with the canon details of how Canderous got the mask. I am quite looking forward to the completion and release of this mod.

Each time KotOR storyline is more and more completed.
Looks great, either the original idea and the improvements to the story fiting into KotOR's canon.

Umm, there is a little problem with this mod. If you remember my "[WIP]" Expanded Galaxy, you find the Self-Proclaimed Mandalore on Concord Dawn. Also, just a small cannonity problem; the Taung Mandalore didn't have the mask, according to Wookiepedia:

At some time before 3,951 BBY, he [Unidentified Mandalore] encountered Canderous Ordo, who had recovered Mandalore's mask and sought to unify the clans. Already dying, the Taung did not survive this meeting. He proclaimed that Mandalore the Ultimate had usurped the title with Sith assistance, and that he was the true heir of Mandalore the Indomitable. He asked Canderous to adopt his clan and take his armor, in order to preserve their heritage. Ordo would do this, integrating this Mandalore's mask into his own helmet, subsequently becoming Mandalore the Preserver.

I hope you aren't actually going to be USING the mandy skins on the top row of this thread, I don't think they look good. I can maybe come up with some skins that I think would look better. However, looking at Jax's armor, I hope you are capable of more than I see.

Anyone can model an area, as long as you have the skills to model it, texture it, export it, and have the patience to do it 20 other times.

I've started modeling several areas long ago... but stopped because I'm a lazy bastard lol.

This is the city of Keldabe. The skybox is just a moon. I could add stars and stuff, but once the lighting is done, you wouldn't be able to see them.

Though, your floor texture, the grass, is very tiled. I mean its very visible. You can't escape that its a tiled texture, but I think it could use a tweak... Unless, it's less visible when you walk about with a character?

And you do need a skybox, a black sky is so freaking unnaturale :lol:
But, yeah this is still WIP :p

Really cool, to see you progress :)

EDIT: On the skybox thing: don't forget to put the Self illumination to full white == 100% ON. Like that other lighting will have no effects on it.
It's what makes every sky bright in the game. This also gets used on lights and all.

EDIT2: Also use the Self Illum on your moon!

You can set the Self. Illum in the AuraroTrimesh modifier. ;)

Yeah...even if the lighting will make no stars visible, i appears as if you are walking on a platform in space. is there nothing you can do to make the background more planet-like?

I'm sure progress will go swiftly now. Once a model is like "done", you can fill it in with NPCs and other smaller details. Though that doesn't stop Candy :xp: to further tweak the model.

Like adding a sky of his liking or adjust the textures :D

This is more of a progress report than an update. Sorry no new screenies...
Got Jax's head working, finally. (had to learn the hard way that you cannot break texture verts)

I am adding dialog to the first module now to complete it and start the quest for the mod. YAY!!!!

Maybe you could make it look like it was intentionally a grid, sorta like astroturf?

you've still got a little bit of banding going on. On one side of the ground texture, the value is a little lighter than the other side. The seam is also still a bit noticeable, where the lines of the shadows don't match up.

There is a way of mixing in several tiled textures onto one plane (your ground mesh)... i remember there was a technique in max, just have to find it. I'll see if it is compatible with the game engine. I'm saying this because it might help you add a variety to your ground texture to make it less repetitive and more natural-looking.

I am now re-texturing the model to make it look better in the game. Placing has also begun. Be prepared for a large gap between updates as the next screenshots will not come till the model is done, and new NPCs have been placed.
