Well, I've finally started my creation for Empire at War, this is a realism mod, mainly for myself just to have a bit of fun with, and to learn a bit. Well, anyway, the question/s that I have often thought to myself are one's that I have not found the solution to, so it has led me here. The first question being that, 'Are Ion Cannon's on ships doing more damage to shields and no damage to hull hard coded into the engine? Or can this be modified by changing a specific XML file?' And the last question 'How would I go about adding another few hardpoints to an existing model of the game.' Again, answers for both these questions would be most appreciated.
