Well the first gameplay footage has been revealed for BioShock 2 last night on GameTrailers TV. Check it:

All I have to say is that it looks awesome and I can't wait. :D

If you don't know anything about the game, it takes place 10 years after the original BioShock. You play as the first Big Daddy and the main enemy is the Big Sister who was a little sister in the original BioShock and has taken over Rapture.

I completely missed this thread.

I, for one, am stoked for this game. It's probably #1 on my list of upcoming games.

It probably is for me too. It's close between Assassin's II and this but pretty sure this will be released first so AC2 can be #1 after that. :p

You know, I started the original Bioshock on 360, but I never really got into it at the time. I'll definately have to give it another go before this comes out.

It looks sweet, I just hope the story can live up to the predecessor.

I still need to play the first one - I was waiting to play it until after I played System Shock 2. I just beat it recently, though, so Bioshock (1) is needing to be played!

Do you think you enjoy the Bioshock games more if you've played the System Shocks before?

I have never played System Shock so I dunno but aside from the frustration of getting it to run on PC I've loved what I've played so far.

BioShock 2 Multiplayer detailed (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/58548)

Sounds like it will be similar to Call of Duty 4's multiplayer with experience points and you can customize your character with different weapons, plasmids, etc.

I should really get around to finishing Bioshock. I seem to come back to it after a few months, play for an hour, then walk away.
