View Full Version : Crystal Formation Problem

Presently I’m working on a new story line mod and a few days ago completed part of a particular module, for the sake of the discussion I’ll refer to it as “Module 1.” Since then I’ve completed a few other modules and the story will take you back to “Module 1.” Before I saw all of the placeables and the computer systems were working fine (this module is the Tomb of Tulak Hord (I believe) on Korriban if it matters).
I set up several different (each are their own .utp file) crystal formations from the Force Sensitive cave on Dantooine but when I loaded the module, all I could see was the target of the crystal formation, my PC character would bump into the object, and I could see the caption that says “Crystal Formation” the name I gave the placeable, but the object is invisible. This is another problem I’ve never seen before. Just imagine seeing the light blue target with a blue health bar and the words Crystal Formation above. Also if it makes any difference all of the original placeables are visible, just the new ones are having this problem.

I believe the crystals themselves are part of the map the actual placeables for them are invisible and placed on the crystals in the map.

At least that is how I remember it being, it has been a while ago for me. ;)

I checked out the placeable templates that you can choose from and there were options for different crystal formations. Also an invisible placeable wouldn't prevent you from walking over it would it?

I second RedHawke's statement. I've experimented with those before, but even though the placeable templates give you several options for the crystal formations, none of them actually seem to work. And invisible placeables would still block your path if you run into them.
