View Full Version : Some conversation issues

I spawned an Npc and initiated a conversation with him. However the conversation replays over and over until I kill him. I tried a_talktrue in the script field in the dlgeditor yet for some reason it still replays the conversation over and over.
On another note I am trying to give a character twilek voice over, yet no matter what I do all I get is silence.

Did you also put the c_talkedto script in conditional #1?--see pavlos' dialog editing tutorial.

I put c_talkedto in conditional #1 and it worked. However I am still trying to give them twilek voice overs, but still no luck.

Basically you want to find an exising vo resref of a twilek dialogue and place that file name in the vo_resref in dlgeditor for your own twilek converstation.
for example from TSL from 304NAR_dlg.erf...twilkedo.dlg...voresref is 304twilekdo001...put this file name in the VO_ResRef box for your twilek part of the conversation. Off hand, I don't know if this is a male or female voice, prob male.

I am currently using the AlienRaceNode method- the one where you input a number to correspond to a number in the aliensound.2da. However all I get is silence.
