I have been modeling new guns for Kotor TSL and I am able to put them into the game as a different weapon to the original model but i cant get them to use different skins (.tga). How can i give them separate skins to the original model so the original looks normal but my guns have there own unique skin?

Actually, I am making a version 2 release on a gun i made a while back and it now has a texture. All you have to do is apply the UVW Unwrap/UVW Map modifier(s) *To make sure the texture is correct* convert it back to an editable mesh then apply an Aurora Trimesh to the model, this will keep the UVW's the same then you apply your .tga file to your model and export it out. =)

EDIT: Almost forgot, make sure you drag your .tga to the override folder with the rest of your mdl's and such
