I had a couple of questions about the class.2da file:
Where do the descriptions and icons actually show up in the game?
What do the stat columns mean (str, dex, con, etc.)?
What does the "skillpointbase" effect?
Oh, and has anyone restored the Bounty Hunter class?

Good question. I wonder the same... Theoretically you can make new classes I think.. just so long as they aren't force users. I don't see why it couldn't be restored..
maybe I am ill-informed though.

I might take a look into the bounty hunter class thing... could be interesting if only to get me back into modding....
Descriptions appear at the opening screen where you chose your class, otherwise I don't think it appears anywhere else. I don't think that the icons appear anywhere in game.
The stats mean what the values read if you press the recommended button as opposed to chosing the stats yourself like a real man (:xp:) at character creation.
Skillpointbase means the base amount of skill points that the class recieves at levelup/character creation (can't remember which) those + int modifier = total skill points for level up (I think it's level up.... :S)

I might look into it as well, once I find a good 2da editor.
My trial copy of excel died on me... no more 2da add-ins! :'(
It can't be all that hard. However, you won't be able to choose to be one at character selection.
You could perhaps make Mira or Hanharr a Bounty Hunter though through Utc editing

yeah, would work better than just making it a class for npc's you meet and kill.
As for a .2da editor, I haven't had any problems with KotOR tool's included one.

If you edit the scout class you wouldn't need to alter the .utcs. That's what I did (IIRC, they are the only scouts in the game).

Well I've already successfully restored Bounty Hunter and tried making Mandalore into one. I was just wondering if someone else had already done it publicly. I may make couple versions, with other people and more bonuses.

If you can get your hands on some of the tabletop SW RPG materials, you might find some ideas in there. The one I use is heavily based on said materials, however it also lead to "adjustments" to a few other classes as well.

Well I'm pretty much done with it. Anyone know where I can get an earlier TSLP version? The newest one doesn't work for me.

TSLRP was never released though... except for the leaked beta which was quite buggy..
Maybe he's talking about one of the numerous patches?
Idk, whatever the issue, you should release this mod. I know many people would like to just randomly change their class to bounty hunter :P

Oh lol I just meant TSL Patcher, which is why I haven't released it yet. I gotta stop using random acronyms...so, yeah, anyone know where?
