View Full Version : Ithorian droid quest : how I scr*** myself up

Hello people, I just ran into an issue and unless somebody can help I'm gonna have to start Telos from scratch.

I was at the point where I was getting the Ithorian droid on the docks. I defeated the attackers, took the blasters and agreed to escort the droid to the Ithorian compound. Except I didn't.

I told myself "Hey I can do that later, why don't I go tell Grenn about the blaster now and get done with the smuggling thing?"

Sounded like a good idea but it really wasn't, cause after Sahman got locked up I ran back to the Ithorian docking bay and the droid was gone! Obviously since that bay had been used for the deal with Sahman. The thing is, I can't proceed with the quest anymore, I'm stuck.

I'm guessing there has to be a boolean that can be used to make the droid spawn again (maybe even the attackers too but I wouldn't mind). I searched with KSE and tried a few but so far, no luck.

Would anybody have any idea how I could get this droid back in the dock? Or do something that would make the quest go forward one step?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You could set the quest to a later point with KSE. You may also have to edit a few globals to get it working 100% right. But it may be easier to just restart Telos. But it's your choice.

Advancing the journal alone doesn't help. If only I knew which numeric to fiddle with... There are so many I don't want to create more problems than I solve.

From the way it sounds, the easier option would be to simply return to a save before you entered the docking bay to get the droid, or before really starting on Telos. If you don't want to restart the game entirely(if you can't find a workaround), check this thread to download a saved game: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=157988. Once you download the archive, you can extract one of the folders(not just its contents), into the "Saves" folder in the main K2 directory ( Full location:C:/Program Files/LucasArts/SWKOTOR2/Saves)

I'm afraid I'll have to start over. Good thing I made a save on the Harbinger.

Broken record here but the game itself reminds us all 'to save often and in different slots'... I know this is not what people want to hear having issues.
