Here is a Tutorial as requested for making a new Selectable PC Head.

Find the head you want in Heads.2da. I chose "N_CoortaH". You don't need the name, just the Row Label for it. Mine is 170.

Go to appearance.2da and find an appearance for the PC that you want to override. It should be something like P_MAL_H_SML_01 or something similar. Make sure it is the right gender.
If the second sequence is FEM, it's Female, MAL is Male.

Where it says "normalhead", put in the Row Label for your head. I would put in 170.

Using P_MAL_H_SML_01 as an example, you'll find that there is also a P_MAL_H_MED_01, and a P_MAL_H_LRG_01. Put the Row Number for the head in those too.

Click anywhere else on the file except on the line you edited. If you don't, it will ignore your changes.

Save your appearance.2da file, and put it in your override.

Test it!

This is the easy way of doing it, the other way is making a new appearance for the new PC, with the new head included.

And note that you won't have a portrait, you'll have to make it yourself.
I also made a tutorial on making portraits, which you can view here (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=201482).

That was a bit easy and rough, but it does the trick if you want to override an existing head.

And here are some pages here that I found helpful.
