I tried picking the pupets up. could it be the pupets? if so, how can pick'em up?

Maybe if the puppeteer left them there. He seems a bit scared, of what do you think. (A little obvious hints)

The puppet guy is afraid of the ultimate insult, so you need to scare him somehow, check your ivintory for something about the ultimate insult to scare him with
