Trying to edit player models

How. Can someone set me up with a link to tools i need and maybe a tutorial. I want to make some tweeks to the player models and would like to know how to do it. Im doing this for both KOTORs

Bodies or heads? Either way, this (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=193050) tutorial pretty much covers it - the steps are the same for editing bodies and heads.
