Casting Call: Star Wars: The Sith Resurrection Part VIII: Wrath of the Empire

Two years have passed since the destruction of the New Empire's bio-weapon, but the galactic state of affairs has only gotten worse. The New Galactic Empire has regained its momentum with the return of Grand Admiral Khorzan Velerc and both Republic Intelligence and the mysterious organisation known as Echelon 5 have reported rumours of unusual activity along the borders of Known Space, coinciding with the rumours of the Undying Sith Empire. Kalla Kaltas has since recovered fully from her injuries at the hands of Darth Pestilus and has returned to active duty. Despite scepticism from the Republic Senate, at her behest, the Jedi Order has begun preparations for the arrival of the Undying Sith Empire, likely leading them into an uneasy alliance with the dubious Echelon 5. Lady Andorra Evenstar and Doctor Lenatha Pradhes are now engaged to be married, but little do they know that the events that will transpire at their wedding will be pivotal in the days to come...

38 ABY - Centerpoint Station is used to move Tython from the Deep Core to the borders of Known Space. Due to the Second Corellian Insurrection, Centerpoint Station is destroyed before Tython can be returned to its proper place.

50 ABY - The Galactic Federation of Free Alliances is reorganised into the Third Galactic Republic.

63 ABY - A massive Droid Army, known as the Imperium of Machine and comprised of reactivated CIS units and various other battle droids, and led by the reactivated HK-47, declares war on the Republic. The Great Droid War begins.

64 ABY - Almalexia, Princess of Aztlan is caught selling secrets to the Imperium of Machine, stripped of her title, and allegedly killed by Jedi Knight Hethra Iazoki. Dar Bodonawieedo, future Dark Lord of the Sith is born on Corellia.

65 ABY - Vice Chair Kaité Naberrie is taken hostage by the Imperium of Machine and held on Mustafar, only to be rescued by the Jedi Knights Alkonium Kaltas, Hethra Iazoki, and Isomah Enu. Isomah Enu seemingly destroys HK-101, HK-47's second in command. Alkonium Kaltas destroys HK-47. The Great Droid War ends. Isomah Enu falls to the Dark Side on Mygeeto, becoming Darth Frigidus, apprenticed to Darth Khilbron.

66 ABY - The Sith return to known space, declaring war on the Republic. Former Vice Chair Kaité Naberrie is elected Chief of State. The Resurrection War begins.

67 ABY - The Sith blockade Coruscant and attempt to massacre the Jedi Temple. Ben Skywalker, Blai Secura Kaltas, and Kalla Vel are the only survivors. Kamino is liberated from the Sith by Ben Skywalker. Darth Frigidus is redeemed on Korriban by Alkonium Kaltas, and reclaims his old identity of Isomah Enu. Darth Khilbron is killed over Coruscant and the blockade is destroyed. Komad and Alkéa Kaltas are born. Darth Virul, Darth Khilbron's other apprentice claims the title of Dark Lord of the Sith and continues the War against the Republic, recruiting countless Force Sentitives to the Sith cause.

The Battle of Rhen Var takes place. Scooter Tory kills the Sith Lord Mycaen nai Peelal, and then kills himself. Tyrannus leaves the Sith. Alkéa Kaltas begins her self exile on Dagobah. Dar Bodonawieedo names himself Dark Lord of the Sith after the destruction of the Sith Triumvirate and conquering Kamino.

89 ABY - Kalla Vel is killed on Malastare.

90 ABY - Taris is liberated by the Republic, only to be decimated by the Sith. Darth Mortis is revealed to be restoring the crippled Death Star. Dar Bodonawieedo is captured by Alkonium Kaltas and taken into Republic custody. Komad Kaltas is promoted to Jedi Master, but is soon taken captive by the Sith, following a failed mission on Dantooine.

91 ABY - Darth Mortis finishes restoration of the Death Star and attempts to destroy Coruscant. Komad escapes from Sith captivity. Chief of State Tabula Rasa is assassinated. Kalla Kaltas is born to Komad and Greea Bodonawieedo Kaltas. Almalexia is discovered alive on the Death Star and rekindles her relationship with Hethra Iazoki. Darth Mortis dies and the Death Star is destroyed. Tyrannus disappears, not to be seen again for sixteen years. The Resurrection War ends.

109 ABY - The New Galactic Empire attacks Amshrey and takes the Lady Governor of the Avalon System hostage. The Republic, allied with the Mandalorians, attacks Bastion, capital of the New Empire. Darth Virul is believed to have been killed in the attack, but escapes in the body of Andorra Evenstar, adopted daughter of the Lady Governor. Greea Bodonawieedo Kaltas is killed in the attack.

110 ABY - Alriana Haltra, a Jedi Knight from the Old Jedi Order, is discovered cryogenically frozen on the edges of Wild Space. New Imperial Grand Admiral Khorzan Velerc is confronted by his daughter, Leana Belina, Supreme Commander of the Republic Fleet, and his second in command, Voran Garja, defects to the Republic. Darth Virul's spirit is destroyed on Setna. Darth Pestilus provides the New Empire with a deadly bio-weapon, only to turn it against them, and lead countless New Imperials to defect to the Undying Sith Empire. This bio-weapon is then destroyed by a team led by Kalla Kaltas, who is badly wounded in a duel with Darth Pestilus. Leana Belina is critically wounded during a battle above Geonosis.

Backstory: Skilled in both lightsaber combat and diplomacy, Komad has bested numerous Sith Lords in battle, but has not personally killed any. When given the chance to kill Darth Virul at Bastion, he decided not to, knowing that Virul was more dangerous dead than alive. However, the decision was taken out of his hands, and Virul escaped anyway. A year after the loss of his wife, Komad became romantically involved with Iyav Dourden, a former smuggler working as a security trainee at Huntau station. He then travelled to Setna and aided in freeing Andorra Evenstar from the clutches of Darth Virul. Following Iyav's joining Republic Intelligence, they acquired a stock freighter named the Silver Eagle, and started working together, and were recently sent by Supreme Commander Leana Belina to investigate the disappearance of the Republic Star Destroyer Cygnus.

Instead of wearing a traditional Jedi Tunic, Kalla wears a black sleeveless tunic, which also shows some cleavage, and a short skirt instead of typical pants.
Backstory: Kalla was born at the end of the Resurrection War to Komad and Greea Bodonawieedo Kaltas. In her Jedi training, she focused on the Niman lightsaber form, which eventually allowed her to defeat Andirrul in lightsaber combat. A year ago, she met and fell in love with Andorra Evenstar, princess of the Avalon system, after her mother, the governor, was kidnapped by Darth Virul, but lost her after Andorra, in a fit of rage, killed Virul and became his new host. Two months ago, she entered into a relationship with Andorra's cousin Tonatius Iazoki. At Setna, she tricked Virul into thinking she would offer herself in Andorra's place, and destroyed his spirit when he tried to take it. After Andorra was freed, they did not resume their relationship, and Kalla remained with Tonatius. Following her ordeal on Setna, the Jedi Council deemed her ready to granted the title of Jedi Knight. After the destruction of the RSS Cygnus, the Jedi Council sent her to lead an investigation of the abandoned New Imperial base on Geonosis. There, she discovered Darth Pestilus, the new Dark Lord of the Sith, and the Republic's first information about the Undying Sith Empire. She lost an arm during a fight with the Dark Lord, but thanks to Doctor Pradhes, she was able to regain full use of her original arm.

Backstory: After a somewhat unsuccessful smuggling career, Iyav decided to try his hand at security work, and got a job at Huntau Station, which proved to be less to his liking than he initially thought. Then he met Komad Kaltas, who inspired him to lead a resistance at Huntau against invading New Imperial forces. After being defeated, Iyav broke his fellow security guards out of the brig of Velerc's flagship, and sabotaged Khorzan Velerc's plans. After making his way to Setna in a stolen New Imperial shuttle, he aided in keeping Andorra Evenstar alive until they could get her to a proper hospital. After that ordeal, he left his job at Huntau Station, and started working for Republic Intelligence. During his stint as a smuggler, he married a Republic Guardsman named Jareth Krotan, but he soon saw his husband for what he really was: a brute, willing to sacrifice innocent lives for the sake of his mission, and just as cruel at home. Not long after an extremely unpleasant divorce, Iyav heard rumours that Jareth's brutality caught the interest of Echelon 5. Aware of Echelon 5's near-equal knowledge of the Undying Sith Empire, he is secretly dreading the reunion.

Backstory: How he eluded the Jedi and the Republic for so long remains a mystery, however, it is widely suspected that he had a hand in the bio-weapon used against the Republic Star Destroyer Cygnus. He is also known to use his enemy's fears and anxieties against them. While he lacks the intolerance and prejudice of his predecessor, he is still utterly without mercy or conscience, willing to gas an entire Star Destroy in order to kill one man, or bomb a planet into submission just to prove a point.

After seeing what this new Imperial Empire is capable of she has fully dedicated herself to fighting it. As of now she is thinking of taking a posting aboard the flagship of the republic fleet, The Ackbar.

Weapons: The Sith Fleet, Vibro-Knife, Old E-11 blaster rifle that is hung on the wall in his quarters and a Powerful Custom built heavy blaster that he carries as a Side-arm.

Dob: N/A

Description: Garja wears a black Admiral uniform that he wears while he is on duty. Although he has quite a few medals he does not wear them in front of the crew. He carries a small customized Heavy Blaster pistol with him at all times. He has a scar running down across his left eye and another scar on the side of his neck. His eyes are an icey blue and he has short hair.

Brief History: Not that much is known about Garja except that he rose quickly through the ranks of the Sith due to his ability to examine a situation and quickly find a solution to the problems that were presented to him.

During the battle of Geonosis, Garja was forced to take command of the Ackbar after Admiral Belina was injured by an exploding console. As soon as Belina was able to come back to duty he gladly turned over command of the Ackbar to her.

Title: Supreme Commander of the Republic Fleet and commander of the Ackbar, a highly modified M104 class battleship that is capable of matching a Pellaeon Class Star Destroyer in fire power and has enough power to punch through the shields of an Sith star destroyer with a few hits from it's powerful Turbolasers

Weapon: E-11 Blaster rifle that hangs on her wall until needed, Two Vibro knives, a Vibro-sword that hangs on her wall along with two old D-44 blaster pistols that also hang on her wall

Personality: Belina is quite calm when not in combat situations and is respectful towards the men and woman under her command at all times. However, when in combat situations she becomes focused on finishing the battle at all costs.

Abilities: She is a brilliant strategist who was able to destroy Admiral Garja's first fleet at the battle of Vergasso and she managed to fight Khorzan Velerc to a standstill earlier in the war.

Description: Much of Leana Belina's past is unknown due to living on the streets but one thing that is known about her is that she was one of the best students in the military academy. Her marks were always quite high and she was able to quickly shoot up through the ranks and eventually gained command of her own ship.

Soon after the war with the sith began, Belina was credited with the capture of two Pellaeon class star destroyers that were refitted and repaired and were drafted into her personal fleet.

She was eventuallly promoted to Admiral and then supreme commander of the Republic fleet.

Recent history: At the battle of Geonosis, Belina was badly injured by an expolding console and was taken to a Republic outpost where she was healed by Jedi Komad Kaltas. She is now fully healed and has since taken command of the Ackbar once again. As of now she is worried about the rising imperial threat.

Title: Second in command of the Imperial fleet.

Weapon: The entire imperial fleet and all Imperial land forces. Zabrak battle cannon, two blaster pistols and an E-11 blaster rifle. All are located in his quarters.

DOB: Unknown((He looks to be around thirty five.))

Description: Rejira Beroc was born on the world of Byss many years ago but no one knows his true age. He always supported the Imperial fleet even from a young age and joined the imperial fleet as an ensign.

Like Admirals Garja and Velerc he is a brilliant strategist. But unlike Garja, he has no sense of morality and thinks nothing of killing. He will not kill his own men however and encourages them to think on their own and to come up with their own ideas.

After Admiral Velerc vanished, Beroc took command of the Imperial fleet only to be confronted by Admiral Velerc who suddenly reappeared after the battle of Geonosis. After a short standoff with Velerc, Beroc was taken aboard Vlerc's star destroyer. He now serves as second in command of the fleet after Velerc himself.

Description: Ravirn grew up as an orphan on the streets of Coruscant and was forced to fight for his life on many occasions as he grew up. He eventually managed to leave the planet by stowing away on a trading ship and managed to stay undetected the entire voyage. He eventually made his way to Imperial territory where he quickly gained a reputation as an excellent body guard and later, a Jedi hunter after an encounter with a Jedi knight resulted in the death of the knight.

After the encounter with the Jedi, Ravirn managed to get ahold of a suit of Mandalorian armor. He is currently seeking a job worthy of his talents within Imperial space.

Description: Varith was born on the Cathar homeworld and was quickly found to be very strong with the force. At a very young age he was taken to Coruscant and was trained to be a jedi. After years of training he was made a Jedi knight and was able to create his own lightsaber.

Shortly after his promotion to Knighthood he was dispatched to the planet Cathar to deal with a group of pirates who were terrorizing the local population. It was during this mission that he met his future wift(Jirila). The two of them began a relationship after the pirate threat was dealt with. Unfortunatly, Varith had to leave and return to Coruscant.

Three years after he left Cathar, he was sent back to Cathar a few years before the war began due to increased pirate activity in the sector. Upon arrival, his ship was shot down and crashed on Cathar. After escaping his wrecked ship, he ran to find that the home of Jirila had been destroyed and that his beloved was dead. After finding his beloved dead he went into a blind rage and attacked the pirates and he slaughtered them.

It was shortly after this that Varith turned his back on the jedi and instead of helping them, he began to hunt them. As of now he blames the Jedi for the death of his wife since they didn't allow him to return to Cathar sooner.

Backstory: As a young girl, Lenatha was sold to Jamiro the Hutt on Nar Shaddaa. Jamiro had a sadistic taste when it came to pleasuring himself with the slave girls, and for this reason Lenatha began to have an aversion towards males. She was in her early teenage years (according to humans) when she met Ariel, a human woman who was slightly older than her, and the first one she had felt attraction towards. When their relationship was discovered, Jamiro forced Lenatha to watch as he ravaged and tortured Ariel to death. Being able to channel her emotions naturally, she channeled her hatred and grief towards her vengeance. She studied everyday the anatomy of alien species, most specifically the hutts, and she came in contact with a mercenary who taught her how to interrogate subjects with the use of torture and excruciating pain. She practiced this on the animals they sacrificed to feed Jamiro. She planned this for 2 years and during a raid by trandoshan mercenaries, Lenatha carried out her plan. The Trandoshan leader, having a great hatred towards Jamiro let Lenatha have her way with him. She tortured him in a way that even the Trandoshan's had to look away. The scene was gruesome and she made him feel the largest amount of pain without letting him pass out or die.
She finally killed him and left Nar Shaddaa with the Trandoshan Mercenaries and dropped her off at Coruscant where the Trandoshan Leader put a word for her with the chief medical officer. Recognizing her talents, she was taken in and found her place as a doctor. She suffers sometimes from recurring nightmares of the past where she is torturing Jamiro. She feels an enourmous regret and even sometimes found herself waking up and not knowing her surroundings, she avoids contact and begins crying, rubbing her hands as if they were stained and saying the words "I'm so sorry". She treated Andorra Evenstar and finally found in her a kindred spirit and the peace she had been looking for ever since Ariel.

Description: Identical twins but Tonatius wears the traditional warrior garb of Bushida warriors while his twin wears a tunic and pants in the cerulean colors of the waters of Atzlan emphasizing his role as a water lord. Tonatius has the promise mark on the underside of his right wrist indicating his devotion to Kalla. Loyalty and love give him the will to fight and he will not hesitate to act if it necessary. Taryn wears gaunlets on his wrists decorated with the signs of Aztlan nobility. Both twins have tattoos on their lower backs indicating their parentage and heritage.

Description: His outfit is similar to that of Kun Lao from Mortal Kombat. Classic height at six feet. Hazel eyes, dirt blonde hair. Strongly muscled and capable of great flexibility and jumping.
Backstory: The youngest brother of Andros Starlighter, he is the last of the children born to the Jedi Ashira-Li Starlighter and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Born in a secret location during the years of terror for the Jedi, he moved around with his mother learning nothing of Jedi techniques but of the sentou abilities. He eventually did master some Jedi abilities but preferred to live in the anonymity of non-Jedi. He became a member of the Shinigami, the secret organization that were said to be the protectors of the Jedi Order. How or why that, it is not certain but Tavaryn firmly believes in protecting the Jedi Order from any threat of subterfuge. After the battle at Setna, he stuck around mainly for the benefit of Alriana in helping her understand this new world she was in. On occasion he takes off on a mission leaving few details. Knowing the nature of the Shimigami, no one dares to ask. He prefers fighting with his sword and hands and feet but will not hesitate to use the lightsaber he has carried since he was a youngling.

He stuck by Alriana helping her come to terms with her past. Instead of returning to the shadows permanently, he opted to be in regular contact with the Jedi and the Republic even partaking in training with the mysterious blue lightsaber that he carries. On occassion he does venture to the shadows for the Order and lately for Echleon 5 albeit a bit reluctantly. Mostly he teams up with Alriana and on occassion Haruka who returned to smuggling after the battle at Geonosis.

Description: She honors the face of her grandmother with dark brown hair and amber eyes. She does have blonde streaks in her hair as a result from her use of sentou combined with the Force. Wears a 3/4 sleeve top (white) the top stops at her midriff. Wears pants with knee high boots.
Backstory: Daughter of Andros Starlighter, she taught Greea and Komad's son to be a Jedi but left him at the temple when they left for Setna. Upon returning she continued training him until he was allowed tobecome a full Jedi Knight. She also returned in a relationship with the scoundrel Matton Rand. She now spends time training younglings and going out on assignments always at a state of readiness, as if expecting a battle any moment.

After two years, another addition was made to the Starlighter family. Knowing that it was difficult, Jun-la made the choice to raise her daughter outside the Jedi Temple while she trains her padawan. Currently she is with her padawan on the forest world of Amshrey.

Homeworld: Corulag, and he's part of a family that has long been in support of Imperial Forces, and the Sith.

Title: He has attained the rare rank of Senior Grand Admiral

Weapons: The New Imperial Fleet, a small vibro-knife, and an Aratech type-B pistol capable of over 50 rounds a second, unfortunately only holding one hundred rounds.

Dob: N/A, though theories say he may have been born around the Battle of Hoth.

Description: He strides around the Imperial forces in a black Admiral's uniform that has red lining the sides. He has a great number of medals, only a few that he wears often. He also has standard black combat boots, where he also hides a grenade or two. His face has no sharp features other than his thick, black mustache and a scar that covers the entirety of his left cheek and a little bit of his face.

Brief History: Admiral Velerc has fought at almost one-thousand different Naval engagements, his amount of victories however, are countless. He has proven his genius many times, once during an engagement with the whole of a Republic battle group. His flotilla only had a single, aged, Star-Destroyer and three frigates. In the end, the huge Republic battle group of at least ten Capital ships was decimated and only half of a fighter squadron survived the onslaught.

However, with his sudden disappearance, much has transpired. One being that the Sith were no longer a great addition to the Empire, force-users were now the bane of Imperial existence (due to the appearance of Darth Pestilus and his counteracting Imperial goals). The New Empire must be rebuilt brick for brick, and Khorzan Velerc is determined to do so. Secondly, the appearance of his daughter, Belina, has changed the situation...he may be cold, but she is all that remains of his family. He would be faced with the decision to destroy her one day, and Velerc fervently searches for a plan to save her, and perhaps have her join his forces.

Currently, he has replaced the defector Garja with Admiral Beroc, who he hopes will rise to the grand occasion set before them.

It is time for a counter-attack, and Velerc vows to be at the tip of the spear.

DOB:Unknown, even to him, as Imperials erased all files of his past, fully indoctrinating him into his position as Death Gaurd.

Appearance: He is extremely tall, nearly 7 foot. Asides from that, he is extremely muscular, as nearly all Death Gaurds are. He has blue eyes, and his head is completely clean-shaven. As a prisoner, he wears gray cover-alls, at least for right now.

Brief History: After a long period of wandering after the failed Kaltas assassination mission, Zevar Konig resorted to watching Galactic events from a distance and honing his covert operations skills.

He has since collected information on Republic and Imperial troop movements, the energies used in Darth Pestilus' biological weaponry, and even predicted possible locations as to where Grand Admiral Velerc was to reappear.

These events have led to his own personal climax, and Konig now feels he must take aside in the inevitable battle that will take place between the Sith, Empire, and Republic. But, the former Death Guard first wants to see what work is like from all sides..

Has the toned build of a human that has gone its whole life training and exercising, but is still gaunt and lithe, showing some of his Umbaran blood. Has cold grey eyes, and has the same will perception, and influencing skills as an Umbaran, as well as their calculating gaze, but because of his human blood (and upbringing), he has a wider emotional spectrum.

Debriefing: Shortly after meeting Komad and his group of Jedi, Vector was forced to leave his long standing home of Jatalra for a year, to leave due to the ensuing events on said planet. He aided them in retrieving a Jedi's ancient lightsaber, and some holocrons, but due to slight mental instability, and paranoia, the half-blood kept the holocrons to himself. Soon after the group had reached a station ((I believe that's right)) the former 'Nex Venator-Sicarius' regressed to old habits, and stowed away on a ship, and left ((don't know what happened to, or what to do with the holocrons he had, so I'll leave that ambiguous for now)).

Nearly a month later, Vector was imprisoned by Imperial forces, held there for such a long period of time until a skilled member - most likely a 'Nex Arbitrator', the second highest class among the 'Nex Venators', and one class above Vector's (Thus more skilled, they can only assume) - of the 'Nex Venators' could come and successfully, and safely escort him to the 'Nex Fovia', primary facility of the 'Nex Venators', to be imprisoned, punished, and then brainwashed back into service.

Another month has passed since his imprisonment, and Vector has been, re-instituted back into the 'Nex Venators'. Physically, mentally, and even emotionally tortured, Vector is now a freethinking brainwashed 'Nex Sicarius', and one of the most skilled among his kind. As his torture, and brainwashing occurred, the 'Nex Venators' came across the knowledge of Vector's meeting with Komad, and his group, and have sent Vector after them, trusting in their skills of brainwashing to stick, he is to be their assassin, to end them.
