Hey guys,

I've had this problem in XP for some time now, and I'd love to play KOTOR2 so I'd love your help! When I go into character creation it shows six boxes where the character class models should be... but they are all empty with grey fog. And when I start the game it has these weird glitches - multi-colored spikes and blackness everywhere else. The user interface and menus work and can be seen - I can even see doors and walk around. But I can't see anything else.

A screenshot of the character creation - http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z101/Ha...or2problem1.jpg
A screenshot of the Prologue - http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z101/Ha...or2problem2.jpg
A screenshot of the first level - http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z101/Ha...or2problem3.jpg

I have updated DirectX 9.0c, and installed the latest graphics drivers. I have searched Google a thousand times, but no solutions so far. You guys are my only hope.

Thanks for your help! Here's the Configuration Report -

Download and install these ATI drivers from 2006 (http://www.oldapps.com/ati.php?old_ati_drivers=50).

You'll have to uninstall your present drivers before installing these. The best way to do this is to download and install Driver Sweeper (http://majorgeeks.com/Driver_Sweeper_d6171.html). You'll then have to uninstall your present ATI drivers using Add/Remove Programs in Windows' control panel, reboot into Safe Mode and run Driver Sweeper, then reboot into normal mode and install the drivers I linked to above.

I see you're playing Dragon Age 2 - does the awesome button (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMcVZQI6ybw) contribute to your epicness?

I try. http://www.lucasforums.com/picture.php?albumid=330&pictureid=5681

As far as DA2 is concerned, well, maybe it's because my expectations were low to begin with, but I don't think it's all that bad when compared to DAO, which I found to be a major disappointment. It's worth a single playthrough. Get it at a discount, though.
