Hey guys :) I'm actually working on a mod which will be the continuance of the first Republic Commando.
So first, i present myself. I'm XtaZe from UG clan (ex Soc) which is a french skilled clan. I started this mod one or two years ago but at the beginning I didn't understand anything until I asked Skip and Hockey to have some tutorials.
This mod is mainly inspirated of the amazing Arc Trooper Mod from Carbonite Modders and of the awesome Republic Commando II Delta Operations from Cyro.
So i thank you guys for the inspiration you give me.
In this mod, Delta Squad starts on Kashyyk and they have to destroy the Wookiee resistance.
At the same time, on Kamino, Kaminoians found a new member for Delta Squad : Viper.

For the moment, it's just the beginning so i don't think it will be finished before a long time.
I will thanks members from Cyro Productions and Carbonite Modders for some models I used and I'll sure credits all of them.
If someone will help me with modding or mapping, it will be cool :thmbup1:

So here is the first vid. It show you the beginning of the first mission which is not finished. I inspirated myself of Cyro map but the vid is a bit old (2 days old) and I had to recreate all the map so the final version will be a bit different; there will not be the clones looking at you and you will only use the pistol in the first room (as I did) but the dro´ds will not hurt you because they will be holograms and it's only a training so I don't want to disgust anybody ^^

Best luck in your endeavours xtaze as u know it takes long time to do all this modding/mapping/experimenting..
This map look almost same as map in rc2 demo from cyro .

Yes I know and I had problems with him because he thought it was his map but it wasn't so I'll change the first room and replace it by a hologram textured room.

Sorry for no posting for a long time, I was very busy.
So now I added some skins and I have 2 working SP maps :thmbup1:
And there is the first RELEASE (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VWDHHP5Q) :D
Ok ok for the moment it's only the clonetextures but you can already use them for a mod or whatever you want. All you have to do is to credit me and Carbonite Modders ;)
And of course this is already an old version because I added a few skins after the release.

Almost a year with no posting on this subject.
And today, I'll tell you that I'm not dead and I'm still working on the project. Progress come everyday, so today I'll present you one map of m'y Viper's training on Kamino.
Here is: Citadel
As you can see, I added a few new weapons, accessories and skins. But in this map, you can only see not even 1% of what the mod will finally be and what I have done for the moment.

Well, original map is from you, it's a fact. But don't worry, I always credit guys when I used their stuff or a part of their stuff. ;)
I don't know if you have downloaded the mod, but there is a new credits file in the system data. And look at the names, you're in it once or twice (don't remember ^^)
But of course I love what you do and love your mod and I'm not here to steal your work so excuse me if you thought I'll not credit you and if you thought i'll steal your job :s

After a long time of hard work, some resumption etc... I'm here to show you guys : Republic Commando Order 66: Kamino Campaign.
As the title says, it's a campaign which takes place on Kamino. It's working at 99 % even if it's not the final version but more a preview of what it will be. In fact, need to be worked again, a few details corrected, lighting improved etc etc...
However it still contains 5 playable maps (PRO, Kam_01A, Kam_01B, Kam_01C and Kam_01D) where you play as Viper, the Sev's replacer.

Hope, you'll like it ! And tell me how i can improve it, what I can change etc...
Oh and a little tutorial to how to install the mod:
1)You make a copy of your vanilla RC (vanilla RC is RC without any mod installed)
2)You paste it wherever you want and rename it as you want (as soon as it's clear in your mind)
3)You extract the downloaded archive on your Desktop
4)You copy the contents of the Animations folder from the archive and paster it in the Animations folder from your copy of RC (sif it asks you to replace anything, just say yes (You don't care, it's just a copy of your original RC so your original RC is protected (as soon as you don't touch it) (Or you won't be able to play MP anymore)
5)You make the same thing for every folder (PS: Folder are in the GameData folder)
When it's done, open your game (GameData/System/SWRepublicCommando.exe (the icon with the Commando head) and start a new campaign. It will automatically start the custom maps :)

I'm planing to make a few short campaign missions on Kamino, Kashyyyk, Geonosis, Coruscant, Naboo, Ilum and a Trandoshan Ship.
