Very strange error message ?

Basically whilst trying to play KotOR on windows 7 but with xp compatibility I got the strangest error message which stops my game completely. Any help would be so appreciated.

What your pic looks like is a disc read error that I believe is caused by SecuROM. You may need to get in touch with them via the link provided in Post 2 of the Vista/7 thread and get them to provide you with a new .exe.
