I need help in the theater

I preesed the buttons and pulled the lever and how do i put chicken grease on the cannonbals

Have you just tried using the chicken grease with the cannonballs? It should be working, I can't figure out why it wouldn't be working, then again I haven't played it for months so maybe there's a step that I'm missing, but it was pretty self explanitory, use the chicken grease with the cannonballs

I checked in the corners of a sideroom off of the stage and they wern't there is there anothor backrooon that I know nothing about thanks for your help before

Are you playing the normal version of MI3 or the harder one?
In the easier version, the chest in the back room should be open with the cannon balls in full display.(Ihaven't played it in a Long time) You could always look up a walkthrough site.

I'm having trouble in the theatre too. It won't let me open the trunk! My only options are to examine the trunk, talk to the trunk, or pick it up. I've tried all three, but have had no luck. Am I trying the right trunk? I'm getting really frustrated with this, can someone please help me out?
