View Full Version : Where's Wally??

Am I the only one who missed Wally in this game??
When I first looked at the house between the perfume salesman and the stick shop, I thought I would find him there, (small door etc..) but you can't enter that house...
Wally was one of my favourite characters from the prvious games, but maybe he was on a shorter contract than the Voodoo Lady.
Other than that I absolutely loved the game.
I liked Monkey Combat a lot, and I can't understand those who didn't. Maybe it was because it requred some extra thinking and the moves are random from game to game so they couldn't cheat.

Come to think of it, last time I saw Wally was at the end of Curse of MI...he was hanging in the dynomonkelectric exhibit on the rollercoaster, as I recall.

I don't think that was the REAL Wally, as we also saw an animatronic Guybrush in those exihibits.
I was hoping to see Bloodnose the Pirate, too. Oh well...

I just completed EFMI, and I can tell you, I didn't see Wally anywhere. I wanted to meet him again too http://www.escapemi.com/forums/wink.gif
BTW, the Wally at the end of COMI IS the real Wally. If you look at him, Guybrush will say something about that...

I expect Wally got killed when LeChuck blew up the theme park. That's why I think he wasn't in MI4.

I doubt it, he didn't die in MI2 when lechucks fortress blew up.

I wanted to see wally in emi too but he's gotta make a cameo in MI5 http://www.escapemi.com/forums/wink.gif

I just thought of something.
Wally wouldn't have been killed by the explosion of the amusement park because he's already survived ONE explosion (LeChuck's Fortress - MI2) and if you remember correctly he says in CMI that he 'was thrown clear'.
Ok here's a question, who from EMI would you like to see return?
(Apart from the regulars like Guybrush, Elaine, LeChuck, Stan, Voodoo Lady etc)
Rage. What better time than now?

The Parihna Poodles
The Voodoo Priest (MI2)
The Cabana Boy
The Men of Low Moral Fiber

Bob is dead, I killed him... (No kidding, it *IS* possible to spritz Bob with the Root Beer if you pick out the correct talking responses).
As far as past cast, the only ppl I can think of that we *HAVEN'T* seen yet would be:
The Men of Low Morale Fiber
Personally, I suspect that Largo bacame LeChuck's Screaming Comfy Chair, but I want to find out for sure. As for the MoLMF, you're guess is as good as mine.
You: What is the Secret of Monkey Island?
Me: The secret is, is that there is no secret.
You: Huh? But what about Big Whoop, the Three-Headed Monkey, and/or The Big Honking Monkey Robot?
Me: Oh *THOSE*. Well you really can't call them secrets now, can you?
Me: Well everyone knows about them now, don't they?
You: Well I guess...
Me: See, there you go. Since they're not secrets anymore, there is *NO* Secret of Monkey Island. So what has this taught you?
You: Never to spend, $39.99 on a computer game.
Me: Tsk, Tsk, BAD MONKEY!!! *Whack!* Besides, that was more or less a direct steal from an answer to the first Monkey Island game!
