Ok this is just a little experiment to see where things will go if i don't put a subject...
Also i'd like to see whether ppl need a subject...or whether a subject will simply arize.

MegaMonkey

did you write that subjectless or did it just "appear"?

well, this is a meaningless thread.

Craptacularism, this is an interesting experiment dealing with the sociopsychological minds of us humans. Quite the philosophical thinker on human nature aren't you? You're a late Henry David Thoreau.

Ok, well um thanks for that Dingy Dog...
and no, i put "subjectless"...it didn't just appear.
And btw...the experiment doesn't seem to be going to well since there's only 2 post...but we'll give it time shall we?

Wow Dinghy Dog... the great psycholochist of ours!

Yes!! It looks like you have found the meaning of life.

Guybrush: Can i call you Bob.

Yes. MegaMonkey has lots of time to think. This is a lonely island, and Herman isn't much of a chatterbox.

I find it interesting to think the meanings of life, and now I've found a small part of the solution. Another 5000 years and maybe I'll see the truth...

So I guess we can say that when we come across things without meaning (this topic) then we will eventually stumble across the meaning of life?
At least I think that's what your saying...or are u saying that life is without meaning...? I don't really understand u ppl
my head hurts...

According to Freudian thought, maybe you started this string with the subconscious intent of confusing yourself with your very own thoughts. That's a new one. As Emerson states in his essay "Self-Reliance", "imitation is suicide". Perhaps your new and bold move in uncovering the secret mysteries of this board is just an attempt to become original by confusing your own self. I believe that invokes a sense of, as the French say, "Je ne sais quoi."

I'm 14
I don't understand big words
I got bored
I posted a pointless topic
U ppl plastered it with psychobabble...
That's my analysis

Not that I'm complaining...it's nice to see ppl interested in my posts...and i'm no longer bored! Now where's my dictionary...

MegaMonkey

Maybe Craptularism is right after all... what if he/she ( sorry, don't know wich http://www.escapemi.com/forums/wink.gif ) really thought this thread out and then posted.

But I mean that life isn't meaningless; it has to have SOME point whatsoever. Maybe we're in the foodchain of eternity... world needs our bodies??

Well, there's a question I still can't answer after long long centuries... What is the meaning of life? I'm still finding it out...

I'm 16. In two years you will be able to understand what I am talking about...well, maybe not. However, if you know anything about transcendentalism or late 19th century psychoanalysis or perhaps the Bauhaus School and its effect on late 19th and early 20th century thought, you'll understand what I say.

Hmmm.. boredom of the teen-age...

well, I don't have TIME to get bored because I either hang with friends, go to hobby or post here! Or study, or watch tv, or read, or draw...

or eat. There's the stuff I do! ( but on weekends I have more time to get bored 'tho )

English just is so easy.

I write english like a gentle englishmen do, but my pronouncing is straight from... -a naughty word; come on, make it up yourself-

yes, not too much finns here http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smile.gif but that's ok... nice to have even one fellow finn http://www.escapemi.com/forums/wink.gif

yes, I do know lots of monkey island because I've completed every monkey island game but EMI, and I'm such kind of adventure-fanatic that I'll have to speak all possibilities with all characters ( even if not doing anything but chatting - not getting any vital information etc. ), many times I just sit and listen to the music in certain area and look the beautiful views...

So I spend more time to actually enjoy the game than solve the puzzles http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smile.gif
