He was one of the bosses of Cavedog, who made Total Annihilation and its sequel, Kingdoms. He also helped out with Diablo 2 (even though that's not a Cavedog game).
He had a bit of a blow lately though because I think his pet project, a game which he had high hopes for, 'Good & Evil' got canned. I'm not so sure if it was just put on hold or totally scrapped though.
