What new enemies do you think might be in JK2?

I hope there will be more then about three different alien models for us also I hope there will be a bounty hunter for us to slice up blow up and shoot up. :D

If youhave any other enemy ideas please tell me.

I dont think anyone is quite sure. We think there may be bounty hunters of some kind, but there will definatly be new aliens as bosses. Anyone got any ideas or know of any new enemies in JK2??

Yeah I knew that there would be new bosses because you kiled them all in the last game. I've been thinking and I thought what if they added some AT-AT's. You would have to shoot a grapler hook at the belly and pull up whip out your saber, slash it open then throw in a TD, drop to the ground and watch the fireworks.

A redhead Dark Jedi would be nice. =)

the usual stormies wielding blasters, meybe RPGs(Rail det.)... some AT-STs

prepared defenses(blaster turrets, etc.)

alien mercenaries featuring various odd blasters, weapon types, etc.

dark jedi

non-sentient carnivourous creatures

local police forces, starport security

bounty hunters

those are the sort i expect to see

I just hope Raven does like they did with Elite Force; put this really really big super strong monster at the end of the game

ya like in the original dark forces, my brother beat that on Hard difficulty can anyone match that? He was like 13 or 14 when he did it. hehe :-)

Well, I wasn't 14, but I've certainly beat DF, JK and MotS SP games on the Hard setting. ;)

As for new enemies, nobody knows except LEC and Raven...yet. ;) We've seen some old favourites in the newest screenshots, but I hope they mix it up a bit for the rest...maybe introduce a few species never seen before.

Yeah, as long as they don't throw in Ithorians (hammerheads) like they did in MotS. That was so stupid, since in SW, Ithorians are one of the most peace loving species around, topped only by - maybe - the Cammassi in terms of non violence.

I'd like to be able to pick up and use the Gammorrean Guard's axe this time around. It looks like such a cool melee weapon, but you never are able to touch it in the previous games.

i hope we get to take on a rancor again. Flipping around to get away for it, but when it does get you, lunch. :D

But preferably not one whose name is Voldorth and keeps saying things like "I have ultimate power" and "die puny humans". :D

Actually, I believe he is referring to the Caamasi race from the planet Caamas, introduced in the EU novels Vision Of The Future, and Specter Of The Past. ;)

I completed Dark Force, JK and MOTS all on hard level when I was 13.......great fun. I never play games on easy, only the hardest difficulty. I like games like Max Payne with the addaptive AI so you cant set it, the enemies just adjust to the way you play :)

Yeh i liekd that in Max Payne

CaptainRAVE

Yea, its much better, and if you play better it doesnt just beef their health up, they get better weapons, painkillers and actually play differently........it also prevents arguments of who completed it on which difficulty level.

So true. You can read about them in depth in I, Jedi by Michael A. Stackpole.

And, Mon Calamari, while relatively peaceful are the ones that invented the Mon Calamari Cruisers, so I wouldn't exactly call them non violent. Read I, Jedi for the story on Cammassi.

thats what i hated most about Elite Force. Most games have a big powerful boss at the end...i reckon they should have thought of something new...like...i dont know but something new.

I never play games on easy
Yea, it just feels like ur going through the motions on easy or even normal skill levels in FPSes.
enemies just adjust to the way you play
I don't think I heard about that in Max Payne, sounds even better now, well I have a Q: How long does it take to finish the game?]
If it's only 10 hours worth I'm considering waiting for a price drop.

Unfortunately, Elite Force's ending boss was a big letdown for me, but it could've been worse.

Anyway, a "Huge" end boss would have no place in JK2. I wanna have an epic duel with the darkest Jedi Raven and LEC can dig up. :)

one hasen't turned 13 yet... and one has beaten all DF games on easy, medium, and hard, and JK medium w/ONLY fists.

I thought the Vorsoth that you fought at the end of elite force was cool but it just wouldn't fit for JK2. Maybe for your big bad boss you could have the baddest and best dark jedi get some cloning cylinders and he would have an endless army. Sound fimilar?

talking about bosses i hope that a least one of the mini-bosses have a double-sided lightsaber!

And, Mon Calamari, while relatively peaceful are the ones that invented the Mon Calamari Cruisers, so I wouldn't exactly call them non violent. Read I, Jedi for the story on Cammassi.

Well, the Calamaris invented the Mon Cal cruisers orginally for traveling only...they love their beautiful cruising ships and didn't want to arm them when they joined the Rebellion. But Admiral Ackbar persuaded them to do so...to fight for freedom.

And for I, Jedi: I would like to read it...well I'll buy it when I see them...

hmm....the Camaasi aren't very peaceful as far as can remember...it's a long time ago since I've read the new Zahn trilogy

The Cammassi and the Mon Cal are two different species. The Mon Calaimarian are Admiral Ackbars race and they invented the Mon Cal curisers and they fought for the Allaince. The Cammasi are a peaceful race who got their homeworld ravaged and basically destroyed. Just wanted to clear that up for those who don't know.

i hope they mix-n-match some of the enemies.. so one race doesn't always carry the same weapon..

if force pull is gonna be in, then giving some enemies aditional holstered weapons at their side would be a nice shock...

snowtroopers, dark troopers, nogrhi... ;)

enemies with ysalimari frame backpacks would rule... as you would have to use new tactics as you couldn't use force pull, other powers, saber throw, or send their shots back at them.
and even if you blasted them you would still have to watch out for the bodies on the floor causing your powers to cut out if you got too close...

jawas would be cool... and a sand crawler would be awesome.

i really like those imperial infiltration squads too.. smarter than your average stormie..

they would look cool too.

Thats it.. Pal...

Would be so cool Fight enemies with ysalimari frame. No Force only you....

or nogrhi's.....
just imagine.

Enemies list. What should be included: Stormies (with conc rifles, repeater gun, etc), grans (three eyes), rodians, ig88 assasin droid (as a boss), noghri, naval troopers, ATST, ATAT, imp officers, snowtroopers, E-WEB blaster cannon, battle droids (?), sandtroopers, boba fett, scout troopers, weequays, tie fighters, kell dragons, trandoshans, space pirates, troopers on those lizards, new weapons (flamethrowers, proton roccket launcher etc), imp pilots, ysalamir carriers, dark troopers, ATPT, ATMT, assasin droids disguised as protocol droids, droidekas (?), local starport security services, gundarks, wampas, and, of course - a very powerful sith lord. one that we fight several times during the game. What do you think? ;)

if a person was wearing a yaslmari frame, you would still be able to reflect shots back at them, if you were far enough away... i think that the force-less bubble only extends like 10 meters or so... not sure if a whole lot of them re-enforce each other to creat huge bubbles...

Agen

i'm not really too sure either but i'd like to see spies who are trying to see what ur doing.
and snipers and u might get an urge in the force that they're there or summat and then kill him

Yep, the more Ysalimari in an area, the greater their influence. Read The Thrawn Trilogy, and on Myrkr, when Luke and Mara are trekking across the planet, they can't make contact with the Force since they're surronded by Ysalimari.

Ysalimari or as some of us here have come to call it...the Salami (partly because of the poor moddeling in mots and because its too hard to pronounce)

yeah... i guess.. but i was thinking of it more as a gameplay decision, to add a bit of difficulty and variation to them as enemies.

In the novels luke can still deflect shots back at them, if HE is outside the bubble.. but his ability is severly reduced because he can't sense their minds or really begin to react to the shot until it has left the bubble... majorly cutting down his reaction time... so when he is facing several enemies he is reduced to just desperatly attempting to block the shots and stay alive, rather than being able to actually aim the shots back in a controlled way.

with a bit of gameplay lisence you could use this to say you could block shots from ysalimari troopers, but not return them..
