I remember over at that forum when the Webmaster of LEC's website posted a message informing everybody about the problems with the Chat program (The first chat LEC sponsored which featured the Prez of LEC).

I'm sure Raven and LEC are here, but they don't get into the conversations because people are always harassing them. Even if they say they can't answer any questions about the game, people bombard them with questions about everything. They could get into a lot of trouble if they answer people so I'm sure it's just easier for to remain unknown or just stay out of posting. Maybe if everyone gave them a little respect they could post =)

I have a feeling there was some Raven or LEC staff watching more closely (like Big Brother) the chat even yesterday. I mean some of them must of been in the chat room. I noticed only a few handful talked, the others just observing.

Okay, so Swoosh, Jabba, Digl, Ed, Zero and I didn't LEAVE them much room to talk. We were actually fooling around. :p

It would be cool if they used their own engine I reckon instead of modifying someone elses.

ravens too busy making other games to have the time to make a whole new engine. theyde have to leave the engine-making up to LEC, and quite frankly, not to dis LEC, coz they make great games, but when it comes to their personally designed graphics engines, they arent the most technilogically advanced innovators. and raven knows the q3 engine. theyve based a lot of their stuff around the q2 and q3 engines so i'd say theyre more than experts on it. if you've got something good, i say stick to it.

lucasarts made the tanis engine for obiwan, which wasnt the most beautiful engine people had seen, and look at the **** people gave them. hundreds of people were going 'ergh thats a horirble engine. all blocky and chunky'

im more than happy with this modified q3 engine, and im confident raven will work wonders with it.

if it turns out just like the screenshots we've seen so far, ill be happy.
