From the makers of 3dMax, GMax. A free 3d editing util. Maybe Raven will release a plugin for gmax, so that you can make models and levels in it.

Level editing with GMax is a joke. Just ask the guys on the Quake3World forums!

But yeah, GMax is pretty cool for making models so a plugin for that would be great. :)
