Name: Thrawn
Register Date: April 99 I think

Thanks in advance! I can't wait to have my old account again.

12-11-2001, 06:24 PM
Oh no. . . :(

12-11-2001, 07:04 PM
let me guess...your the person with 4475 posts in the top ten right???

12-11-2001, 07:42 PM
Would one of the Thrawns be willing to change their name a tad bit? I'm guessing the script will only let one user with the name login....

12-11-2001, 09:32 PM
Well. . . I suppose. . . that it should be me. :( I did. . . register after Ghost here. Ghost, if you would be able to change your name. . . that would be great. But I don't expect that you should. After all, you were here first. I suppose that I shall have to forfeit my name. :( But before that I have one idea. Chris could Ghost here maybe have his name changed to "Thrawn " (notice the space at the end). Would that be allowed by the server? If so, I would be very grateful.

Kinda a hacker thing...

That's my Thrawnie from XWA. He deserves the name more. Sure it's unoriginal, but hey. :p

12-11-2001, 10:17 PM
I was wondering what was up with him.

12-11-2001, 10:25 PM
No it doesn't look like that's possible...

12-11-2001, 11:01 PM
Hey Thrawn(GB Thrawn)
Maybe you could try:

or something like that...

What's not possible, Chris?

12-12-2001, 01:35 AM
to have 2 Thrawns, Niner.

I think the Thrawn with the smaller sig should be allowed to keep the name ;)

12-12-2001, 03:51 AM
How about we have a steel cage match. ;)

Speaking of sigs, damn some of these peeps have hella huge sigs. What's up with that. does it have to do with small body parts?

12-12-2001, 07:27 AM
Yeah, how 'bout that, huh?

I pity the folks who view some these pages on dial-up... all those graphics must take forever to load.

But it seems that the XWAers have always felt differently than most on that issue.

12-12-2001, 07:40 AM
we are a different breed are we not? )

12-12-2001, 08:10 AM
We like to think so! ;)

12-12-2001, 01:45 PM
Guys, if the huge sigs bother you, why don't you blocvk yourself from seeing them. I think you can do that somewhere in your UserCP.

12-12-2001, 03:12 PM
I just dont' get the point of these huge sigs. it just takes up space. how many people read it more than once? makes you scroll farther.

I mean, i understand that everybody on the internet wants to be *somebody*, wants to stand out in a group of millions. a huge sig isn't going to do it.

12-12-2001, 03:21 PM
Oh. . . Too bad it won't allow that. :( Well Fergie, those are some good ideas. I'll have to think about it for a while. I don't mean to be whiney, but it really sucks having to forfeit your name. :( Oh well, I am the newer Thrawn. It just won't be the same w/out looking up and seeing just "Thrawn." It looses a certain omniscient feel to it when you add something. Hmm. . . what would be a good name that still says "me?" Hmm. . .

I know how much that name can mean Thrawn, (I feel like I'm talking to myself), and I'm sorry about it all. I was afraid this would happen with the forum change. Perhaps there is some way to restrict my Thrawn name to only the XWA forums? If not, then I really appreciate what you're willing to do Thrawn. If I can, I'll help you think of a better name.

12-12-2001, 06:36 PM
Well Ghost since this is one HUGE forum now with lots of subforums I really don't think it is possible to have 2 Thrawns...

12-12-2001, 07:13 PM
newbie Thrawn, just use the whole name: Mitth'raw'nuruodo or whatever the hell it is.

Alright, GB Thrawn has agreed to use that name. I've already changed it. Now, can the real Thrawn use his 4000+ posts account?

12-12-2001, 09:26 PM
Yeah, guess that sounds good. Ghost you owe me big! And if people don't recognize me, I'M GOING TO SPAM UP THESE FORUMS SO THAT EVERYONE KNOWS WHO I AM!!!

Chris, at long last I've decided to change my name at the request of Ghost here. My new name. . . will be "Mitth'raw'nuruodo." There it's done. . .

12-12-2001, 09:43 PM
Thanks guys. And for the record Mitth'raw'nuruodo I do reconize the name. :D

Maybe that username is just bad luck... ;)

12-13-2001, 06:38 PM
Ghost of Thrawn, do you still use your own e-mail account, grandadmiralthrawn_2000@yahoo.com? That is where the password was sent to.

Ghost of Thrawn
12-14-2001, 10:51 PM
Yes, I still use that account for the forums, but I don't have any messages from the forums in my inbox. I've typed in my address twice, and it's been a few hours now.

12-14-2001, 11:10 PM
The password has been e-mailed again. Make sure to logout of the forums first, before trying to use your old username.

The e-mail has never come. I don't know what else to do. Is is possible for you to mail it to bilbo070@yahoo.com ?

12-17-2001, 04:40 PM
An e-mail has been sent out to your new e-mail address. I hope it works.

12-17-2001, 05:38 PM
Chris, i've never actually received any emails from this site either. perhaps there is something wrong with the mail service.

12-17-2001, 08:20 PM
That's a possiblity...
Thrawn, I'll pm you your password. We know that works. =)

Thanks to all of those who helped me get my name back! A special thanks to the other Thrawn and ChrisC3po. It feels great to be back to my old self again! If you want, feel free to delete my Ghost of Thrawn name. Thanks again!
