I was hoping someone could tell me how to use triggers. I have spent about 10 hours and don't get it. Please help.

Their quite easy to use. Just take your time andd you'll figure out eventually.

The trigger I want is freezing units on other teams so they don't move.

Either use the immobile units AI, or use a looping "freeze unit" effect.
