compatibility mode with XP

i am playing the game a second time. this time with winxp in compatibility mode win98.
i can't solve the the puzzle in the wine-cellar in ruvacava.

when i switch the button and jump on the fork-lift (and i am as fast as i can) i am on top floor, when many is ready to drive the fork-lift forward.
anybody got the same problem?
maybe somebody can mail me a save-game with this puzzle solved?

You don't need a saved game. You need to patch (ftp://ftp.lucasarts.com/patches/pc/Gfupd101.exe) the game.

(In case it isn't obvious, click on the word 'patch' up there and it'll start downloading.)
