us mods can't do anything, you need to talk to supers and admins. and It works for me.

we mods cant do anything about it...just the admins

i'll take a screen of it and upload it for those of you who cant see it.

Well, I do get banners, but they don't appear there. Always out of the way to the side of the text. Try configuring your page settings or something.

personally, I'd just leave that banner there...... :P

Looks like your font size is set too big or your screen resolution is too low, or both, so the browser is running out of space and dumping everything on top of everything else. Try setting the font size to the default, Medium, by using the Text Size thing on the View menu (in Internet Explorer).

This is annoying though -- the stupid banner obscures the posts themselves on occasion, for some bizarre reason. Seeing that UGO run the worst banners ever, all I see is a big white "Internet Explorer cannot find the page you requested..." rectangle (mysterious that ;)), but even that gets in the way.... grf.

I'm surprised you haven't found problems like this before, BTW... most site designers are so concerned about their beloved site looking ideal on their machine that they forget about those with different settings to their own. Cuss!

I'll look into it. Probably something to do with uber-low resolutions.

A thread like this would be better in the Feedback forums of www.lucasforums.com
