[Market] fluctuations are of negative influence to the pay of the proletarians, according to Karl Marx, as they come in either an increase or decrease in the need of the workforce; increasing the need will cause more competition among the workers, eventually causing them to lower their demand and further disenfranchise them from the work they do and the life they lead -- while a decrease causes unemployment, which voids the life of the devolved and uncultivated worker, thus showing the weaknesses of capitalism; though current post-welfare states have excommunicated the proletarian by the use of foreign work, which, in spite of the country's own socialist legislation, is a direct continuation of the capitalist exploitation.
