Had no problems with EFMI on XP myself.

I had problems my self with cmi on xp but after some emails to lucasarts I got the sollution on my problem with cmi. Cmi would not run the 2nd cut-scene but after altering the dxdiag and lowered the sound-acceleration... So go install XP both games runs perfectly:-)
