I just got the DVD the other day, it is SOOO cool. You should have chosen Zaphrod Beeblebrox, it would have had much better letters for hangman, :D

Lemon Head
02-03-2002, 05:53 PM
Zaphod would have been so cruel - you heartless person

anyway what DVD did you get, the telly series? imho the radio series was the best version - i just live and breath those books

Metallus

Did I miss something? What's the answer?

Also: HelenW, it's your turn :D.

HelenW
02-04-2002, 01:51 AM
Lemonhead: I got the telly series on DVD. I've never heard the radio series, didn't realise it was available to buy, but I'm a big fan of the books too.

Metallus: The answer was Ford Prefect, I didn't say it but I gave the last letters.
Ok, here goes with mine then.

ok listen you dumb space cookies lol, yes Ford Prefect was a car, it was also the basis on which a character from the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy chose his name so as to blend easily into human society.

If you've not read, seen, heard it, do so right now! it's worth it

Most of his books have been turned into films, my faves being 'The Big Sleep' by Howard Hawks, with Humphrey Bogart as Marlowe, and 'The Long Goodbye' by Robert Altman with Eliot Gould as the great deetective.

Damn straight! Everyone come to Wales, and and revive our flagging economy as well as funding my holiday job! Tenby, just as Tall Guy says is a very nice place to come and stay, and my friends and I frequently visit when we grow tired of our own 1-pub town. Come to think of it Tall Guy, if you have stayed here on holiday, you have proably visited most of the places that I go to - small world! :)
