on a more serious note, I think Valentine's Day is a nice holiday when you have someone to share it with (as I do), but I think it can be taken a bit too far, I think what is appropriate for Valentin'e Day is a small gift or something, some people get carried away with it and make it ridiculous, which is why so many people are sick of the holiday...
