My favourite song currently is Hands Clean by Alanis Morrisette. It is the one song that actaully has understandable lyrics! :D

Hands Clean

If it weren't for your maturity none of this would have happened
If you weren't so wise beyond your years I would've been able to control myself
If it weren't for my attention you wouldn't have been successful and
If it weren't for me you would never have amounted to very much

Ooh this could be messy
But you don't seem to mind
Ooh don't go telling everybody
And overlook this supposed crime

We'll fast forward to a few years later
And no one knows except the both of us
And I have honored your request for silence
And you've washed your hands clean of this

You're essentially an employee and I like you having to depend on me
You're kind of my protégé and one day you'll say you learned all you know from me
I know you depend on me like a young thing would to a guardian
I know you sexualize me like a young thing would and I think I like it

Ooh this could get messy
But you don't seem to mind
Ooh don't go telling everybody
And overlook this supposed crime

We'll fast forward to a few years later
And no one knows except the both of us
And I have honored your request for silence
And you've washed your hands clean of this

what part of our history's reinvented and under rug swept?
what part of your memory is selective and tends to forget?
what with this distance it seems so obvious?

Just make sure you don't tell on me especially to members of your family
We best keep this to ourselves and not tell any members of our inner posse
I wish I could tell the world cuz you're such a pretty thing when you're done up properly
I might want to marry you one day if you watch that weight and keep your firm body

Ooh this could be messy and
Ooh I don't seem to mind
Ooh don't go telling everybody
And overlook this supposed crime

Isn't that a nice song?

KEEP POSTING!

My current favorite is System of a Down's

Toxicity

Conversion, software version 7.0,
Looking at life through the eyes of a tire hub,
Eating seeds as a past time activity,
The toxicity of our city, of our city,

New, what do you own the world?
How do you own disorder, disorder,
Now, somewhere between the sacred silence,
Sacred silence and sleep,
Somewhere, between the sacred silence and sleep,
Disorder, disorder, disorder.

More wood for their fires, loud neighbors,
Flashlight reveries caught in the headlights of a truck,
Eating seeds as a past time activity,
The toxicity of our city, of our city,

New, what do you own the world?
How do you own disorder, disorder,
Now, somewhere between the sacred silence,
Sacred silence and sleep,
Somewhere, between the sacred silence and sleep,
Disorder, disorder, disorder.

New, what do you own the world?
How do you own disorder, disorder,
Now, somewhere between the sacred silence,
Sacred silence and sleep,
Somewhere, between the sacred silence and sleep,
Disorder, disorder, disorder.

When I became the sun,
I shone life into the man's hearts,
When I became the sun,
I shone life into the man's hearts.

i dont necessarily have a #1 fav song, ill post this one first-

Drops of Jupiter by Train

Now that she's back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey
Since the return from her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey

Tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Now that she's back from that soul vacation
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey
She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo
Reminds me that there's room to grow, hey, hey

Now that she's back in the atmosphere
I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky Way
And tell me, did Venus blow your mind
Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken
Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong
Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation
The best soy latte that you ever had . . . and me

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way

[Repeat 1st Chorus]

isnt that awesome

One of my Favorites:

They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse in your Soul

I'm your only friend, I'm not your only friend,
but I'm a little glowing friend, But really I'm not actually your Friend, But I am.

Blue Canary in the outlet by the light switch, who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it: say I'm the only bee in your bonnet
make a little birdhouse in your soul

I have a secret to tell, from my electrical well
It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells
So the room must listen to me filibuster vigilantly
My name is Blue Canary, one word spelled l-i-t-e
My story's infinite, like the Longines Symphonette, it doesn't rest

Blue Canary in the outlet by the light switch, who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it: say I'm the only bee in your bonnet
make a little birdhouse in your soul

There's a picture opposite me, of my primitive ancestry
which stood on rocky shores and kept the beaches shipwreck free
Though I respect that a lot, I'd be fired if that were my job
after killing Jason off, and countless screaming argonauts

Bluebird of friendliness, like guardian angels it's always near
And while your at it, leave the nite lite on inside the birdhouse in your soul

Blue Canary in the outlet by the light switch, who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it: say I'm the only bee in your bonnet
make a little birdhouse in your soul
And while your at it, leave the nite lite on inside the birdhouse in your soul
Blue Canary in the outlet by the light switch, who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it: say I'm the only bee in your bonnet
make a little birdhouse in your soul

I have to smile just typing the lyrics

Yeah Rommel, a catchy song that has implications of pedophilia :D

Big Empty: Stone Temple Pilots

Drivin' faster in my car / Falling farther from just what we are / Smoke a cigarette and lie some more / These conversations kill / Falling faster in my car / Time to taker her home / Her dizzy head is conscience laden / Time to take a ride / It leaves today no conversation / Time to take her home / Her dizzy head is conscience laden / Time to wait to long / To wait to long / These conversations kill / Too much walkin', shoes worn thin / Too much trippin' and my souls worn thin / Time to catch a ride / It leaves today, her name is what it means / To much walkin', shoes worn thin.
