I have a feeling if Best Buy doesnt advertise the game in this weekends ad then its doubtful they will put it on the shelves until the following week, they have a habit of doing things like that. I'm sure EB and Gamestop stores would have it in on the 29th though, they are pretty good about putting games out when they get them.

Thats a real shame for you guys, getting it on the 29th, as here in the UK we get it on the 28th :) Do USA have a closing day on good friday? Cause in UK most shops are shut on good friday, which just happens to be the 29th March!!! :) So looks like we are getting it a day earlier!!! YAY! :duel: :trooper: :lsduel:

I think that we(uk) will be getting it on the 29th too. I know it's a bank holiday but i think the shops will be opening with Sunday hours so you'll have to wait til 10 in the morning to get it :)

Uh, we're getting it on the 28th in the US too. It's shipping out on the 27th, most stores will have it the next day. Raven/Lucasarts are just playing it safe by predicting the 29th.

I asked in HMV and EB on Oxford Street in London, and they said 29th, but times change. They always do. I'll ask early next week too, and I wouldn't be surprised if they said 28th.

Interesting that it's Good Friday. Completely forgot about that, and it may even be I won't be working that day. Definitely an omen..

How i see it is, LEC is going to ship the games sometime early next week. Because if they send it the 27th then people who preordered most likly won't get it till next week and hten they'll cancel their order so they can go get it in store on the 29th or 28th depending on the store. If they don't do that, well then they're going to lose lots of business, and their reputation would become tainted.

A lot of places say it's gonna be in on the 28th. I asked the local EB guys, and that's what they said. If I were you, I'd expect it on the 28th.

I slapped 10 bucks down at a Software ect. store and BSed with the clerk a couple minutes, and according to him it ships on the 27th..... so by 28 or 29 it should be round

I did the same thing as BJP3E. The clerk I talked to looked it up in the computer for me and he told me they'd have it on the 28th and I could pick it up then (guess we'll see if they really will).

Second, I've never heard of somebody in Holland say "hella". The disease has spread from Northern California!! I've refused to say that word ever since I encountered it 4 years ago.

That's probably where it's from alright. I think it was mostly a Northern California thing, but then it spread like a disease and I think a lot of people all over say it now. I especially remember a particular episode of South Park a couple years ago that centered on the word "hella". It was damn funny.

At the local mall I talked to the clerk at Software ETC (Ames, IA)and he gave the JK2 release date as March 29 (this was before it was announced gold). I could call him back and ask about pre-orders though.. and report my findings.

Update: I called the store again today and double-checked. You can pre-order (put 10$ down) and get a free t-shirt, plus guarenteed copy of the game on release. He said the date was March 28th (in the computer), and that I'd get a call the day before so I could come pick it up. The price, according to him, was $39.99.

They ship out the copys on the 27th and if you order JO over the internet you should be able to get your copy buy the 29th, thats if you have it delivered in two days. It beats standing around waiting in line at EB.

Ok im only gonna say this one more time.....
The game is shipping on the 27th.... That means the morning of the 28th every game store will have it on the shelves in the Us....
If u preorder u will also recieve your copy the day of the 28th.

i don't know about other places, but EB will get it on the 28th before closing and will have it on shelves on the 29th.

Yeah that's right...if you go to EB's web site, you'll see that and I spoke with a sales person in person too. Amazon actually says it will be released on the 27th of March.
