I just bought a GeForce3 Ti200 and the performance is no better on JO than my GeForce2 mx. This stinks. Raven needs to patch this game or something.

I'm taking my card back to best buy.

I am looking to buy a New Video Card.

Right now I have a Nvidia Geforce 2 mx pci
It was out of my old computer. I now have a AMD Athlon XP 1500+ with an AGP x4 slot. So I need a new card.

What would be your suggestions? Nvidia or ATI or a different manufacture? If Nvidia or ATI which one? I don't want to spend alot the 240 for a Geforce 4 TI....but I want a good card...

I have three nVidias that I've been testing:

GF2mx200
GF3ti200
GF4mx440

None of them stood out as being better than the others. I couldn't figure out why. I just realized that I didn't have the propper AGP drivers installed on my computer so I installed them and got a significant improvement. Now I have more testing to do with the three cards. I'll let you know what I find out.

They're all crap. Anything with MX means it's budget. The Ti200 isn't bad if you overclock it a bit, but I don't remember what the DDR spead is off the top of my head. 8ns?

Anyway, I've had no problem running this game and I'm using a GF3 Ti500. My brother is using a GF2 Pro and he's cool too. Keep in mind that when you install a card, do your homework as to what to set the settings to. Your Mobo could default your AGP settings to 2x and you could be using 4x. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!
