STOP HOSTING DUEL SERVERS WITH 20 KILLS PER FRICKIN ROUND!

WHAT THE HELL!

Log onto a duel server, cool wait my turn. 4 minutes later the 2 blind rat newbies are still swinging like headless chickens in a 3 hour marathon before one of them actually connects with a swing meanwhile I SIT ON THE SIDE WAITING AND WAITING!!

I leave anything more than 5 kills now.

Duel servers are ok, the wait is bad. But watching for anything more than 5 kills doesnt make sense and kills the server as peopl enter and leave while the same 2 ppl fight over and over.

If you are a server host of a duel server, please limit the number of kills per round so the action is fresh, people are changing tatics on the fly, the compeition remains and the game is fun. Sitting thru 15 kills is not fun.

Just stop hosting duel servers with more than 5 kills per round! dont do it!

no but seriously I totally agree with him, it is annoying and a huge waste of people's time if they dont read the fraglimit/timelimit screen at the beginning and end up waiting for 10 minutes before deciding to quit.

The default is 10, and the duel_fraglimit and fraglimit commands can be confusing.

I run 4 duel servers all w/ duel_fraglimit 30 and fraglimit 3. Good luck getting into the servers. Everytime I check they are full.

if they are dedicated servers, dont start to tell them how they should operate their own server...if you dont like the settings, i hate to tell you this, but find another server =)

Hmmm, I haven't run into this problem yet. Every duel server I've been to is 1 kill limits...which is a very good thing, guess I'm lucky. I've been on to some extremely slow duel servers though where the host is always dominating because the lag issues effect all the guests and not really the host as much. Seriously, I've seen some of the worst duelers be dominating in a game with a ton of lag just because they are hosting. When that happens, I just leave right away.
