Dueling Idea.

A lot of people complan about the long wait times on dueling servers. I must agree with them. More than 6 peeps and you are gonna be waiting a bit.

That in Quake 3 Rocket Arena mod. They would have more than one place to duel. So you would have like 5, 1 on 1's at the same time. Think they had 2 on 2's also(That would be intersesting) On seperated parts of the map. It was the same map it was just split up to allow for this.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So you could have maybe 3 duels going on at one time, on completely seperated parts of the map.

But I guess this more of a mod idea. Since it would probably require all new maps.

I think the biggest problem is that not many people know how to properly configure a duel server. I joined one game with a 10 kill limit for each duel! That takes FOREVER! It makes it so the duel combatants rotate every 10 kills. If you set this kill limit to 1 or 2 the rotating goes a lot quicker.

hmm, that Q3 rocket mod idea would work, but it would require some coding to be done...

Well anyway, its a good idea, just how are you going to keep track of THREE duels AT THAE SAME TIME?
