I'd be happy to help as a trainer/teacher whatever. I've had the game since the day it came out and I've played it hours a day the whole time. If you want me to help out just email me: Monkey1061@aol.com

Mabey you guys can fill me in about this, but what is the big f'n deal about a Jedi Academy? Some of you are acting like this is training you to be a Jedi in real life or something...

04-09-2002, 12:08 AM
immortal: i kind of get the same impression but im interested just because i think it would be fun.

Oh ok... Geeze, that's practically what I've been doing every since Quake came out.

Seems people don't have the patience to learn the art of competition within' a game, and seek help.

Which is fine by me of course, I'm just glad that I'll be around to help whenever somebody needs it.

watch who you call losers man...;) i'm the site's webmaster, and i don't even play online (that often), i just figured i'd help JediSith999 out... trust me, not everyone behind stuff like this is a dork, but i do think it will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation by giving them some pointers on how to play the game... it will at least teach them a little class (see today's )penny arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com) comic for more info) (note, my tongue is planted firmly in cheek on everything but the not playing online and just helping part]

I agree on the online playing part... I hardly EVER play online... Probably due to the community that's on the servers.

I like to just play my bots. They don't cry, they don't whine, they don't bicker, they don't complain. :)

Would be okay to help a few people out, I have yet to play online with JKIIJO, but if its mostly like JKDFII then, more likely there will be a lot of amatures in there, I just hope I dont kill the same amature more than once out there.
Just hope people don't act like they all good.
Don't let some newbie join in the JA and then act all good hes in a group.

I'd love to join something like this as my technique is somewhat rough and could do with some guidance and practice to help rfine it. It would be great to have somewhere where people could go to learn and grow the skills and not just somewhere for people to show off. I know I could do with some help in some areas but also may be of some assistence to the real novices who have only just picked up their sabre for the first time. In some cases my knowledge is greater in theory than practice.

Look forward to more news so keep us informed.
