I just got back from seeing it. The only movie that comes close to being as impressive as this is Shrek. The life like faces in it were unbelievable. I was amazed by their hair, alone! As far as the story goes, It was pretty good but I the ending kinda let me down.

Has anyone else here been to see it yet?

Mine too. Too bad I can't see it 'cause I have only one frickin' theatre within walking distance. :(

I wish I had a car.

Or a buss-pass.

Speaking of Final Fantasy, I need some help on VIII. Where you have to fight Odin, after you put the other eye in the statue, what is the code that you have to put in? My two brothers are already passed this part and they can't remember what it is? Last two GF's I got were the Cerebrus and Alexander, in case anybody wants to know.

You find it when you put both of the red eyes into the second statue. It tells you the code and you should wrrite it down.

I'm lucky because since i'm on vacation here in the US, i get to see all the new movies that won't get pictured at home for another 6 weeks, possibly not at all sometimes!! I was waiting for JP3 but it didn't come out in the cinema we are near & we had a free pass so we went to A.I. That was the saddest movie ever!! I'm going to Toronto tomorrow and next on my list is Planet of the Apes!!!!!!!

AH, the fact fact that the CG actors look like real actors is the big deal. A giantic leap forward in technology.

A far cry from Chicken Run

so imitation is better than the tangible?

I wish you'd quit making yourself look like an idiot. People have made art before and people are still making art so do you run into museums and yell,"it's been done!"? People have also made movies before. So do you run into movie theatres yelling,"It's been done!"?

Jeez, I've never seen someone have such a hard time grasping something so ridiculously simple...Unless your just saying this mindless, unthoughtout dribble to cause contention.

Only three. Currently playing is A.I. (seen it), The Score (not interested), and Legally Blonde (which I may go to; it looks funny).

Fortunately, my mom was in town today, so I had access to a vehicle, and got to go to FF.

I liked it; the CGI was breathtaking (not just the humans, but the visuals/effects/scenery), the story was engrossing (for me at least), and the ending was excellent. You could recognize the Japanese animé/manga influence in the philosophy/symbolism (though I can see why some people I've spoken to didn't quite get it).

Did anyone else think that the Zeus Cannon looked strikingly like Wing Zero using its beam cannon in Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz?

You can really see the connection between the games and the movie too. If you've played the games.

"it was made on a computer and doesn't have any actors."

Doesn't have any actors? Doesn't have any actors?!

It does have Actors they needed real people in the motion capture suits to do some of the animation.

And they had to have real Actors to do the voice overs for the CG Characters. :D

That's true.
