newbie being ultra thick

:confused: I've just started playing JK2 :) (literally today) i haven't gotten far yet.

Anywho How do you open those "secure" supply crates? I have three of the cards but I don't seem to be able to open them.

I've definately got the right crate 'cause I checked on one of the walkthroughs

I've tried going up to them pressing "[" to get to the card then hitting "enter" to use it but nothing happens :( please help this poor fool

Find the side with a keypad looking thing. Now just hit "E" to "use " the crate. The key will be used automatically.

Tell me about it and also keep looking up if u cant find a way past later on.

Some things you have to activate (switches, supply boxes, etc...) you have to either look down at, or duck to hit.
