View Full Version : converting quake 3 battle droid to JO

I found a ep1 battle droid for quake 3 and I really want to convert it to JO. Does anyone know how to do that. Or, what tools to use. If anyone wants the to find out what it looks like then go to this link.

Two things:

You may want to get ahold of Sundance first. He's on these boards, and on Polycount alot, so thet'd be the first step.

Secondly, I'd suggest a whole new model. JO allows alot more Polys, and Skin Templates at larger resolution, so A new model is really the way to go.:boushh:

Oudated pic, I've since finished the mesh. It's currently undergoing mapping, which I have no experience with so its a slow process :) I'm currently trying to use a program called Lithium Unwarp, but I'm having trouble to get the faces to line up. If anyone has any good methods of mapping using these then it would be much appreciated.

Actually, you may want to get Sundance's and Burnt Kona. I beleve Sundance only added new _i files....
