What Pizza is the best to eat?

Hello Everyone! I have to ask you all a very personal question.

What is your favorite pizza?

I personally don't like many pizzas from chain pizza stores like Pizza Hut and Papa Johns, because of locally owned businesses that make good pizza. Of course if I had to make a decision I would say that overall Dominos has to be the best. While I dislike the hand tossed pizza the deep dish and thin crust are excellent. Also the cinnastixs and buffalo wings are top notch. Then other places like CiCi's are excellent as well. Then again I want to know what you think. What makes the pizza good? What makes the pizza your favorite? Toppings? Style? Overall Taste?

I just had Papa Johns and its alright. It's better than what my mom usually makes for dinner.... I like dominoes too they have the lowest prices and they taste good. The best is home-made though. The kind where you make the doe and everything MMMM.... I made barbeque pizzas once they were VERY good!:D

You know I have never tried barbeque pizzas, but I have had a 'hamburger pizza'. It had mustard for sauce and cheese and hamburger for toppings. It was actually pretty good.

Oh and moderators, I know this has nothing to do with Jedi Knight 2 (unless you enjoy eating pizza while playing JK) but please don't delete this thread. :)

i go for papajohns thick crust chese pizza.

domanos spices are good, but.... i dont know just too somthing. ppj's crust and bread is the best imho:D

down the road from here we have Flouton's and Lucia's. lucia's is the best. and when i order there i get black olives, sliced meatballs, and mushrooms. very good, very good.

and i like papa john's a bit.

Custom pizza: Pizza Hut, stuffed crust, chicken, sausage, canadian bacon.

Plain-ol' one topping: Papa John's pepperoni. IT MUST HAVE ARTERY-CLOGGING GARLIC SAUCE WITH IT.

I don't care if that sauce could give me a stroke, at least I'd die happy.

Well, I grew up with Little Cesar's, and for a while, if we wanted pizza, that's what we got. But then one fateful day we ordered from Papa John's... best pizza hands down, IMHO. I also like frozen BBQ'd pizza.

There are those who would say that I haven't had REAL pizza unless I've ordered it at a restaurant, but hey, I don't care.

I like my pizza with a glass of tea and a good TV show, computer game, or website to look at.

I feel sorry for you guys if you think that Papa John's and Domino's is "good" pizza, I don;t even consider that pizza. If you want the best pizza in the world you have to come to the Bronx, the pizza here will knock your socks off.

I didn't say dominos knocked my socks off, I said it was good. Which it is good. Of course there is better things because I have had better, but of chain stores I would say Dominos rules. Better pizza and better people, Dominos.

And if you dont consider it pizza then what category does it fall under. Looks, taste and smells like pizza to me.

hey, you can post pretty much anything in the swamp here. doesnt have to be sw related in any way. just make sure its suitable for a family audience :)


personally, im not a fan of pizza hut. I find their pepperoni too crunchy. The best pizza I've ever had was in santa monica from a little shop on the corner of the mall at the end of santa monica bvd if i remember correctly. Huge double layered pepperoni and cheese pizza slice. 1 piece filled me up....

it was incredible..


my next trip to the US will definetely have a stop there.... :)


I'm a pizza junkie. I have it at least once a week... my metabolism can cope with it though. I eat a whole pizza and lose weight. It's great :)

gotta enjoy it while I can...

Best pizza I ever had? Mr. Pizza Slice, Red Bank New Jersey. Awesome. When I was a little kid there was a place called "shakey's" (I think) that was real good. I also like making my own with those Boboli crust things.

The best pizza I've had is from Ingleside Pizza in Macon, GA and Chicago Pizza in Largo, FL.

I know, its just pizza, its just that people from the bronx take their pizza very seriously. All I'm saying is that the pizza in the bronx is sooooo good that it doesn;t even compare to the likes of pizza hut, domino's and whatever other pizza chains there are out there. Pizza in Italy is actually even better than pizza in the bronx, but its totally different there too.

ah crap! I forgot about little ceasars pizza! havent had that in years! LS is no longer in are(sp?) city anymore.... get it when i am in detroit though..... PIZZAPIZZA!:D

also had pizza in chicago once. cant remember the name of the place, crust was about 1 and a 1/2 inchs thick, but soft it was great. also the only time i've ever had sliced fresh tomatos on pizza before, it was quite good. if you get the chance you should try it.

I get a large Pizza with 5 toppings from the place I order my pizza from. The toppings are......

ANCHIOVIE's ( My favorite and a must have on my pizza)
Green Pepper
Sausage
Pineapple
And double Cheese

All the greasy double cheese just melts in your mouth MMMmmm. I get this great deal from Norms pizza here in my hometown in Canada.

As far as the national chains go, I like Papa Johns the best but usually order Domio's cause they have buffalo wings. The best places to go are the little local places that make big greasy pizzas and serve beer. These places are everywhere and are usually great.

I much prefer the local owned shops that are run by mafia lords and their sons to look like a legitimate business :D

No but seriously I do. When I lived in Hawaii, the best was dominoes then I saw the light and became addicted to Papa Johns. Then in VA (virginia to you un-cultured folks ;)) this place called "Antonios" was one of the best for sure, all of the people in an architechture firm I was in would order every other day I believe :)

Then there was "Sylvios" in... Massaschussets (sp? gawd... hard to spell that one) That had also INCREDIBLE pizza, also you could have any ingredients you wanted.

Now in Sweden... I'd say this shop about 5-10 min away is extremely good. Yes another Italian owned pizza place... all the above mentioned have been owned by Italians - Good folk they are ;)

Yep... I've been alot of places and tried many pizza's. The best are old style, home(like)cooking and self owned by some Italian family

I sometimes eat Red Baron pizza's from Food Lion for a snack. Get me a large pepperoni and a cream soda and ill be happy.

Especially if you mix in some tv.
