scrolling textures + selecting mult faces

Ok, I hate asking such a noob question but I really need to know and I swear I've checked everywhere.


How do you make a scrolling texture?
Say, the equivelent to a func_conveyer in half life.

I neeeeeed to know!
Any examples would be appriciated.


Also, how do you select multipul faces with the face select tool, why doesn't shift ctrl click not work anymore?

a few things are missing in JOradiant that were in the last q3radiant like csg merge, but I can't even figure out how to select even 1 face yet!

I'm using a 2 button mouse so this may not work for everyone ..but hold down shift and click the surfaces you want to select one bye one.... hit escape to unselect....

to scroll textures hold down shift and use the arrow keys...


I have a question... I've made a multiplayer map. I can play in it. I sent it to a friend he can play it.

But I can't join the map..?

I think part of my problem is that I stripped down one of the example maps that came with the editor..?? any suggestions?
