It's for the TIE Fighter CD, i haven't tested it with the floppy disk version though. All you do is run it with the Film thing. It's mainly a demo to see if everybody likes the level, 'cause what would the point be if everyone had to backup Battle 1 and play a few missions that aren't worth it. The film room was the easiest way to dload the level, 'cause nobody has to back anything up.
The level was pretty easy to make, I just had to double check things a couple (or more like 5) times.
Yeah I found this level editor VERY easy.
I remember the first editor I used for flight games was XMB (Xwing Mission Builder) it was DOS based, but ran under windows 95 on my old 486 perfectly, i made a few missions with those, but it wasn't as flexible as the TIE Fighter mission editor, 'cause of the lack of ship variety and missions.
I'm still working with JED though, tonight i got a bit frustrated at it though, I was putting some 3dos in a level, mostly ships ones 'cause I was making a hangar bay, and I didn't put them in correctly (this all started with the patrolling imperial boat showing up as a grid block), and I need to start from scratch now, at least I know which 3dos i like now, i tried out that Escort Shuttle, that's pretty detailed!
