Although GB hasn't come out yet, I know you people have Scenerio ideas in your head. Lets hear them for no other reason than it would be interesting

Naboo Vs. Gungans.

You play as the naboo and you have to destroy those stupid gungans who always annoy you. The gungans are located in their secret hideout and you have to search them out and destroy them with your most powerfull weapons. Oh, and you start out with Jedi, since the coucil decided to send some because they really annoyed Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.

15 AT-ATs and 4 Antiaircraft Walkers or Antiaircraft somethings vs. 6 Rebel Tanks and 100 Rebel Troops and 6 Rebel snowspeeders.

I loved the more unique AoE situations which had you explore interesting terrain with a tiny strike team, hunt lions, wolves, gators or elephants, and other stuff like that, so...

I envision Luke wandering tauntaunlless in the Hoth wastes, surrounded by the bone-chilling howls of Wampas. :snow:

:yoda: Since there's all ready a Yoda hero, why not make a Dagobah scenario? The indigenous rancors would add depth to this! "Size matters not...uh, okay, so It might...!"

Also, I don't know exactly how the bounty hunters will work, but it's my guess a player can have as many as he wishes, ala Clone Wars Episode II!

Maybe something like the downfall of the Old Republic to the Empire. The Old Republic could be played by the Naboo or something

Hey Blue, there aren't rancors on dagobah, maybe you were think dathomir.

Here's another one.

Trade Federation Vs. Empire Vs. Naboo

You play the Empire. Since the emperor hates droids so much, he decides to wipe them out. They are currently on Naboo, but the nubians aren't going to just you the two fight. So, you are fighting the TF and the Naboo, but they are also fighting each other. You have to destroy both.

here's for that guy who wanted the ewok expansion pack. i suggested that the vongs could be the new race in a possible expansion pack and have everyone else (ewoks, mons, etc.) be non-playable races. if there was a battle for endor scenario where the rebels would have to destroy the shield generator, then maybe the rebels could hook up with the ewoks. kinda like the seek and destroy missions for those of you familiar with starcraft (those were awesome). the catch? have the rebels only have a small band of troops compared to the multitude of imperial soldiers defending the endor generator. anything that implements strategy over brute force (such as the braveheart pc game which i thought sucked for lack of strategy).

If hunt the Jar Jar is twisted then don't play Demolition, there's a code where you can get a hunt the Jar Jar mode.

Anyways I'm gonna make a scenario were Luke battles Vader, but for Luke to battle Vader he has to break through the defenses of Vaders stronghold; using every force technique he knows. You would have to use stealth mode and convert Vaders villagers to win

I had a great Idea for a campaign, I'll post the little backstory I wrote when I get done with it but it involves the Naboo, Rebels, and Trade Federation.. Stay tuned!

A nice scenario would be the building and subsequent fall of Bespin.

You'd have to build up Cloud City from scratch, battle the Empire as they come to set the trap for Han etc.

and then retreat in good order.

You'd retreat 'till you hit a trigger, then it would do something, like end the game. Or you specify retreating to a certain point as an objective, the last one so when you hit it the game would end

I know that in the Starcraft editor you could create a sort of Area, Say if a certain number of units enter the area you win, is there anything like that in the AOK one?

Now here's an idea. You control a heavily-armed team of specialist Rebel operatives. Your mission: disable an Imperial stronghold and allow the Rebellion to take control. You would work your way through the city on the exterior of the stronghold, then blast down walls on your way through the fortress. The final battle would be a huge confrontation with a Dark Jedi, or an AT-AT.

And at the end right before your team gets to the core of it you have to battle DARTH VADER? Any suggestions?

How bout all you have is Luke, and all they have is vader. One Vs. One, and you have to find each other as well, you won't start next to each otehr.

And how bout this one:

You are the Rebels. You have a small task forve where you must destroy the imperials castle or whatever the main building is. At that point your reinforcements arrive and run over the base and ocupy the space. The map then reveals a hug imperial base and you have to wipe them all ou it one masive battle.

I'm a Star Wars purist, so I would never make a map that doesn't fit snugly into the continuity. Most of you don't seem to have such a hindrance it appears.

well, it's just using your imagination a bit, which is essentially what Lucasarts did with GA too. after all, you can put civs against each other that normally would never encounter each other.
and you will be able to play missions in the 'What if...?' category.

the 'What if ..?' scenarios sound very nice.. i heard about one already (TF against Gungans if Anakin HADN'T destroyed droid control ship), and i wonder what the other ones are...

maybe Hoth if the Rebels couldn't get away ?

I know that there's going to be indoor mission on Cloud City. Since the Special Edition movie let us see some of the most beautiful scenery, that should be the jaw-dropping level in terms of detail and color-use.

Yeah the clound city level sould(sp?) be excellent.Here is a idea for a what-if scenario:What-if Darth vader went in search of luke right at the begining of A NEW HOPE then a HUGE battle insures between the empire and the rebels,hm.:)

If you keep looking hard enough you will find it.

i wonder who would win... wait, no i don't.

i need coruscant though! the one in force commander sounded cool but the sky didn't have and lightning effects, the imperial palace was way to small and didn't look exacty right, and the map was really small with only a few coruscant missions.

A well done coruscant level would be really cool, but i think that a really good bespin level would be cooler. And, i agree with you in saying that the FoCom coruscant was pretty disappointing.

the key to a great scenario is that there's developments WHILE you play. In AOK it meant that certain allies would suddenly stab you in the back or something. For Star Wars it could mean.... ?

How about a battle with all six civs (if it's possible) meaning a possible total of 1200 units on the screen (each civ has 200 units). You could have each civ's base and villages on a mountain top thingy and have wide roads leading into a very large crater. It could be just open or it could have a big city there. But between each civ's base is a large forest and the only way to get to each civ's base is by taking one wide road. each civ would also have a lake and a river by their base and there would be a large lake in the middle where the rivers would flow into.:deathstar

ok...we have all the civs souronding a great labarath of tree, rock and lake......minerals are scattered thru out.....but also inside is each civs main goal.....jar jar binks....either build a scount team and hunt him early.....but beware there are many dangers in the woods.....or kill all teams and crush him with your mighty hand.....

kind of like a "capture the binks"

Recreating FC missions wouldn't be hard, except there's no TR-MB in GB :).

However, the maximum number of players isn't six. If GB is like AoK, it's eight, making for a total of 120x8 units! You can have like two empire players, where one is commanded by Thrawn and one by the traitor Zaarin (or, of course, have two imperial allies).

Darth Vader vs Palpatine vs Mara Jade vs Darth Maul vs Luke Skywalker vs Leia Organa!!!!!!

Or this:

recreate the same kind of missions like the ones in Rogue Squadron!

ex 1. The Jade Moon: Go through a canyon with a x-wing :x-wing:squadron and attempt to destroy the shield generator (protected by At-Pts and turrets and stormtroopers and ties :tie: , u name it) while mech transports go to a place and rescue ppl!!!

ex 2. Defection at Corellia: protect the imperial contransport and shoot down all the incoming ties and bombers + At- Ats with your Snowspeeders!

ex3. Imperial Construction Yards: Avoid attention and infiltrate the ATs Factories at Balmorra!

ex4. Assault on Kile II: Get your y-wings ready for some imperial garrison bombing runs!

Imperials vs. Civilians

The civilians have built a mega combo ultra superduper destroyer and the imperials are trying to take it away to use it on the rebles..BUT WAIT! the rebles are also tring to take it away from them so they can use it on the Imperials!!!

How About this scenario: Escorting the Queen from the palace to the hanger through the trade federation-controlled streets of theed. This would be similar to one of the missions in the Joan of Ark campaign for AoK.
Is Amidala a "hero" character in the game? I'm pretty sure obi-wan and qui-gon are.
