View Full Version : New Star Wars Column

I was thinking about StarWarsGoon's topic. I've decided that I want to write my own Q&A column about Star Wars. I'll answer questions about the movies, toys, computer games, sucky console games, card games, role playing games, etc...

I am no expert. My formal training is in Chemistry, Bilogy and Music (don't ask). So I am no expert, unless the fact you count I've followed Star Wars for my entire life.

I'll host the column on my site. What you need to do is to ask me questions, and I'll answer them and talk down to you like Steve Sansweet and Adam Pawlus do in their columns. Just e-mail me the questions at pbarny@rebelscum.net and I'll post them up on my website (probably in the Star Wars Collection area). I'll publish the link on here. So send me some questions.

This is like an editorial column in a newspaper/magazine. That means, I am doing this entirely on my own for non-profit means. I am the sole writer and propieter of ideas (except the questions). I may not be able to answer everyone's question (baring duplication) and may have to edit questions for content (not grammar, spelling, capitalization or punctutaion, so if you're an idiot, it'll show up for the world to see).

Paul: Why did the Wookie cross the road?

http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/wink.gif Just kidding. Yeah, that's a pretty kewl idea.

I can't really think of anything I don't know in the Star Wars universe though, since I too have been following Star Wars for the better part of my life...

For those of you who are dense, it's a column. That means, I do everything. If i feel swamped, I may ask you to write occasionally. But Only I will be writing.

If you want to help, email me questions. Then I'll kick you in the nuts and answer your questions. That order.

What we can't ask questions on here?

What's the address of your site?

No. It would be too big of a pain in the ass.

If any of you could read, I haven't created the site yet!!!

Email me at pbarny@rebelscum.net

I would tell you guys more, but if no one emails me any questions, there won't be an column. I won't do it on here, because it won't reach a wide enough audiance.

But you could ask for questions here, and then post them on your site... How is e-mailing you or posting the questions on here different?

I'm able to download the emails and work offline. I live with other people (so the phone line isn't just mine). It's just the way it will be. Bitching about it won't make me change my mind.

I'm sorry for those who've visited the site the past few days. I switched HTML editors and I found out a major error in the one I was using. I've gone and debugged the site using good old Windows notepad.

Write me some questions please.

Still need questions. The site is up, now I just need readers to post questions.

Again, I will not answer questions asked on here, I've advertised at several boards at yahoo, other more STar Wars News sites, etc. Just too much work, must be centralized, so you must email me your questions.

What ever happened to Lightbulba?

lol @ WeedSmoker...

I wasn't bitching... I was just saying if you don't have any questions then why not just take a few from the post you regularly visit but anywayz it doesn't matter...

Because instead of me taking 30 seconds to cut and paste an email from a box (which is what I do with Knight Watch btw) to Word, it would take me hours to go to all the different boards and do the same work.

Q: What ever happened to Lightbulba?

A: He suffered a major burn out, totally comiing unscrewed. We sent him back to Watts for recovery and to provide illumination for his new life.

Next question.

I have done another update. This week is more of a strict editorial. I warn you, if you do not understand or follow logic, then don't go over to the site.
