nooB needs help [Archive]

I'm a new mapper in JK2Radiant and i am already having probs. I am experienced im Worldcraft
see Here(Valve-ERC.om_ (www.valveerc.com) for details.
My problems are.
1. BotEdit comes up with the error can't find mscoree.dll
2. There are no textures in JK2Radiant
3. How do you select brushes
4. Has anyone got a [u]good[u] tutorial that tells you how to do the following; make a room, connect two rooms use lighting, add monsters and ai?

Links to User's Manual and Editing FAQ are on the right. If you're experienced with WC then the info there will help you get acquainted with Radiant. (Some of the FAQs are Q3Radiant-based, but the Radiant editor is pretty standard from iteration to iteration.)
