Well, due to animation problems, you'd need to re-animate the saber unless your ok with it going through your chest a few times.

theres nothing to beta test.
to create a double bladed saber mod you would have to change the animations, which deals with models.

however... since we can have a double bladed saber in MP it would make sense that somebody could incorporate the double saber in SP, i just have no clue how.

By double saber, do you mean that you want a two bladed saber or a saber in each hand like a certain undisclosed Jedi in Episode 2? If you want the former, I've got no idea how to go about it. If you want the latter, you'll have to wait a LONG TIME!!!... And I still have no idea how to go about it:D . Anyways...
