A quick question..

Hey guys, Im lagging way too bad for some reason on MP, with my ping over 300/400, and Im even useing cable. I know someone told me to type some command to make it go down, but forgot. If anyone knows and could tell me, Id appreciate it, thanks.

its the rate command.

just punch in 'rate' into the counsal, and go from there.

the number is Kbps.

with cable, i'd try 10-15000

sure...

use SHIFT+~ to drop the counsal.

type in rate.

see what its set to.

to set the rate, command is "rate 7000"(or what ever)

like i said, with cable, 10000 is a good starting point.

the patch may have reset this to default.

You can also set that in advanced options (when hosting at least).
