Well I stumbled upon this once, and recently decided to try it out. I assumed it would prevent fall damage, but it doesnt seem to be working that way hehe. In fact, it doesnt seem to be doing anything.

Anybody know what this is?

Anybody know how to prevent fall damage on a specific brush? (without using water)

If I remember correctly, noimpact is for putting on surfaces that you don't want weapons fire to impact against, like the bottom brush in those "bottomless" pits and such.

Make a brush 1 pixel tall with the cushion texture on it to create an invisible brush in the game that prevents falling damage. You could also create a new shader for the texture you want to use and add a cushion surfaceparm.
